Loved this jacket so much, got another one for my mother!! The fit is nice, sleeve length is a little long but given what it's meant for makes sense. It stretches and moves with you. Love it love it love it!

Received this jacket last week and boy am I impressed. Best purchase I've made in a long time. There is nothing I don't love about this coat. I ordered the lilac color and it is great and looks exactly as the photo. I was looking for that in-between coat and this is perfect. You can't go wrong with this one. The quality is remarkable. Ok there is one thing not perfect. I am 4'11" (ordered the petite) and the sleeve length is a little long, but nothing I can't live with. Most petite is made to people over 5'2". So I'm used to it. Has kept me very warm. Thanks LLBean!!!

I was so excited to get this jacket. I have had an LL Bean Pathfinder jacket for about three years that I absolutely love! I wear it 9 months out of the year - for cross country skiing, walking, bike riding, golfing. etc. It fits the bill for every sport with just a little different layering. It is also my go to jacket for shopping, etc. I guess you can figure out how much I wear it. So, I thought it would be nice to have another softshell jacket, but with a hood for snowy and really cold days. I decided to order this one. I probably would keep it, except the arms are so very long - halfway down my hands! I ordered the size large (same as the Pathfinder) and I am not a small gal - almost 5'9" with a corresponding arm lenght. It doesn't have an i-pod pocket and I miss the fleece lined cuffs that are in the Pathfinder. Sadly, I am going to have to return this jacket and hope that next year LL Bean will come out with a Pathfinder with a hood # I recommend a removable hood - much more flexibility with a removable hood!#. Love my Pathfinder - wish this jacket was a little more like it!!

I initially ordered a reg small, loved the look and feel of the jacket but I was swimming in it. The arms came down to the second joint of my fingers and it was too roomy in the middle. I was attracted to the "fitted" aspect of this jacket. Two orders later I ended up with a petite xs in the black coffee and I am in love. To give you an idea I am about 145 (small on top) and 5'3". This is a gorgeous coat and I'm so glad to have finally found the right fit. This will be loved for years to come.

I purchased this jacket after the death of my other everyday go to jacket. The jacket is pretty weighty but it works well to block wind and is extremely warm and comfy. It has a flattering fit as it sort of conforms to my body shape. The inside is extremely soft and warm warm enough to where sometimes I just have a tee shirt on underneath and I am still snug. I like the little floral design by the zipper and the little flower embroidered on the sleeve that I didn't even notice in the picture online so it was a pleasant little surprise.

This is the best jacket! I love it! Out of my hundreds of coats (well not quite that many, but I do have a lot)! this is one of my favorites. It's my best all around, practical, out about town jackets. I have last seasons Deep Teal color, and I get compliments every single time I wear it, it makes me look so stylish. It's not my warmest coat, but am comfortable in it in 10 degree weather without any substantial layering. The fleece on the inside looks and feels very extravagant and lush. The little flower applique by the left wrist is beautiful, though not really noticeable by others. The hood is perfect-it is big enough, but not too big, and the zipper zips up high to cover my chin and throat. LLBean, please keep the Deep Teal color going.....it's just gorgeous!

I bought this jacket last year and have been wearing it nonstop. It is so comfortable on; it feels only as thick as a sweater but is really warm. I wear it through the winter--and I live in PA-- except for the coldest days, or cold days that I know I'll be outside for a long time. It's perfect for shopping or running errands since it's not bulky. It always looks nice too. The zipper covers the neck without the hood, and the hood has plenty of room when up. Really it is the perfect jacket.

This is not a dressy jacket but the fact that it has a hood makes it perfect for messy weather. I took this jacket to Ireland in June and wore it every single day (days in the 50s, nights in the 40s with rain possible every minute). The thick fleecy interior and the water-resistant, stretchy exterior fit every weather scenario we encountered including very high winds on the Cliffs of Moher. It was roomy enough for extra layers when needed and comfy with just a thin T-shirt as well. Love that it comes in petite and that exterior pockets are zipped. Please add more petite sizing!

Got this for Christmas last year and it has almost replaced my other coats. It works in all but really cold or extremely wet or windy weather here in Western NY, and is cozy and soft. Unlike other Bean jackets I've tried, it fits well, with sleeves that are long enough. It has held up very well for a year, with just one tiny pill on one sleeve.
