Sounds like an odd adjective to describe a "sweatshirt"- but this is anything but...The lining is the softest, most plush fleece- like your favorite stuffed animal...and the outer fabric is softly brushed. I purchased the green- a subtle, neutral, season spanning color. This would make a wonderful gift for a woman of any age...starting with teens. It will definitely become my go to jacket!

During one cold spell last month, it was chillier here in NW FL than it was in Lubec, ME, so, yes, this hoodie comes in handy! It is so incredibly warm & comfortable that it is now my go-to casual jacket. I look forward to purchasing another when a wider selection of colors becomes available.

This is my go to sweatshirt to wear around the house or wear outside on most days. I wear this over a t-shirt around the house. When I go one walks, I reach for this fleece. The fit is great. The only activity I can't do wearing this is washing dishes. The sleeves can't be pulled up and I end up getting the bottom of the sleeves wet. When I receive this hoodie, the zipper on the right side pocket could not be zipped but I got the zipper back together and now can be zipped.

I agree with so many other reviewers on the comfort and cozy feel of this sweatshirt. I live in MA, and own 3 of these, cream, navy, and magenta/navy stripe. It's true to size for me, is really warm and comfy. However , it does have a few drawbacks. I'm 5'6 and 1-2x in size, and the sleeves are too short, especially on a really cold day. The length on it is also too short. Like others, when raising my arms up, it shows my abdomen, which I hate. So I have to wear a longer shirt underneath. It's thick, so a little bulky. It's oh so comfy, so I overlook the drawbacks. But if it was longer, or at least made in a "tall", I'd be even happier! Please consider also making pullstrings for the hood. On windy days, which we get a lot of here on Cape Cod,the hood keeps falling down! I've also worn it out to shovel snow, and the hood won't stay up, which is really annoying! Overall, it's a great sweatshirt, and one of my faves. It's definitely a 3 season shirt, so thick and warm, but not overly hot. The lining feels more like the material of a long sleeve shirt, not picky at all. The hood is more like sherpa, or a really soft baby blanket, rather than fleece. It you have more of a petite torso, then it might fit you better. I'm about half torso and half legs. So if it weren't a little bulky, a little on the short side, and had pullstrings on the hood, then I would definitely buy more! For you Southerners, I bought mine when I still lived in FL. It's definitely warm enough to get you through a FL winter. I'd say temp range would be 30s-50s. 20s or really windy if you layer, and 60s if you run in the cold side. Otherwise, it's a little too thick and heavy. If the fit was a little better, I'd give it 5 stars. LLBean could fix that by offering different lengths to choose from. This is a great shirt otherwise, it just needs a few design tweaks in my opinion.

I just got mine yesterday in the navy blue. I love it. I am 5 ft 8, 150 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. It is heavier weight than I expected, but this is a good thing.
Worth every penny.

I LOVE this sweatshirt! My friend had one and I envied it so much I bought one for myself and each of my daughters. We wear them constantly. So comfy and warm and yet great color and perfect in fall/spring when a coat is too much. Highly recommend!

We live in the country, so I'm always running out in the cold to tend to the chickens and dogs, to go to the post office, etc. This hoodie is super comfortable and cozy too. Pleasantly surprised that the fleece lining looks as good as new after several times through the washing machine and dryer. Only negative is that the zipper on the right pocket just broke - although I know I can return it for an exchange, I just hate to be without it!

I love this fleece lined hoodie! It's warm, soft, cozy, and looks great! Also has zippered pockets, great on walks without worrying about loosing anything. OVERALL, this is an excellent product. Not washed yet, so I don't know about shrinkage. The ONLY thing wrong with this hoodie is NO pull string on the hood. It's often windy where I walk and I like to snug up the hood. If you continue the line PLEASE put a drawstring on the hood :)

I am very disappointed right now. I love this sweatshirt!!! I have the bright aqua blue color AND I LOVE IT! I have had it replaced 1 time for the pull tab on the front zipper which broke off in the dryer. My replaced sweatshirt pull tab broke off again. I can't seem to get this color again. The product now only has 2 colors. I FEEL THIS PRODUCT IS ALMOST AN ALL SEASON PRODUCT. Good for cool spring days, cool summer nights, crisp cool fall days and even winter as a layer or traveling in the car long distances. I REALLY want LL Bean to stand up to their guarantee of products to last. Giving 100% satisfaction. I'm not satisfied with the color choices available. PLEASE FIX MY ZIPPER... I DON'T WANT A DULL COLOR. And I love this sweatshirt... If you want different colors to purchase please write a review and tell LLBean. Hopefully they will listen to their customers. : ) Thank you!

I have this sweatshirt in both Navy and Blue Teal and love them both. It is a little heavy but very warm & cozey. I does run a little big at the bottom but once it's washed it fits perfectly. Love these hoodies.
