Shock-absorbing suspension seatpost and gel-padded saddle soak up bumps from rough roads. Shimano® 24-speed gearing provides plenty of options for varied terrain. Easy-to-use Rapid Fire shifters allow you to change gears effortlessly. I was disappointed that they arrived in what I felt was a complicated assembly still required BUT when I called Customer Service, they said that if I couldn't assemble them to have them assembled professionally and they would reimburse the cost. The bikes are fabulous and I highly recommend purchasing them. June 7, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5�by LLBeanrockshardcore Excellent Commuter Bike I tried many hybrid bikes and this one for the price was by far the best one! It's very fast, comfortable seat, adjustable handle bars for custom fit is great. Excellent quaility; this bike could sell for $599 easily - but it's only $499. One down fall, the seat is not quick release, you have to use an allen wrench. I would recommend this bike. April 12, 2011

I just don't find my old racer comfortable any more, and this bike provides the perfect replacement. The design delivers some comfort without taking all the fun out of the ride - a good seat for long trips, but not a sofa; tires large enough to handle bumps, but still small enough to keep friction to a minimum; geometry that doesn't kill your back, but still lets you put some power into your ride; light enough to feel a bit sporty, but solid and affordable. I'm very pleased with it! April 10, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5�by LGalbany Good bike for its price I just bought one at a Bean store last week. For it's price it is a very good bike, but buyers should be aware of its limitations. Both the seat and handle bars are not as adjustable as on more expensive bikes. I've been able to find a comfortable fit, but some others may have more difficulty. That said, it's a very good bike for the recreational rider. October 9, 2010

The bike was promptly shipped, arrived in good shape and required minimum assembly. I did take it to a Schwinn bike shop to have them check it out and fit me. I particularly appreciated the ability to call in to LLBean and get answers to questions as i was putting it together. June 11, 2010

Rated 4 out of 5�by capecod330 love it! this bike is great! I love how easy it is to ride. LOVE the handle bars and shifting is easy. the only one thing which is hard to get used to is the seat. I find it a bit hard but I do like the support when you go over a bump. It has everything I wanted for leisurely rides on bike trails!! August 16, 2009
