Rated 3 out of 5 by maui2 This is not a true camel color
I am 5? 2? and bought a petite size. Fit is fine, although a bit shorter on the hips than I like. I agree with other reviewers about the tag being on the outside of the sleeve... not good, but with careful cutting it can be removed. The reason I returned this blazer is because of the color. It looks camel online but in person it is a drab, odd, lighter brown. Maybe more like a British khaki than a camel, but not exactly a British khaki, either. Will work alright for a cool-based clothing palette but not for a warm-based one. And definitely not if you want a true camel color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by madcitywisgal Sizing is W-I-D-E -- such a pity!
I love the color, the fabric, and the style. I ordered the size 4, and the body of the jacket is huge. I think this might be a manufacturing defect since the product description calls this jacket "slightly fitted," and the jacket on the website model looks fitted. The shoulders and sleeves are fine, as it the length. The body is several inches too wide from the arm pit on down. Sad to say that it will go back tomorrow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Iluvmycat Love this jacket
I've been wearing this jacket for 10 plus years. I replaced it in the dark navy color and wanted to try the camel color. I didn't even try it on. The camel is a dingy camel color Very disappointed. It went right back. I'm 5'5" and 150 pds. I've gained weight so the size 8 I have in navy is too tight. I still wear it unbuttoned. It is a gorgeous jacket and keeps me warm in North Calif. I'm working out and hope to lose 20 pds and then this jacket would be comfortable and roomy for a sweater underneath I recommend this jacket just not the camel color so giving the camel color an average rating

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rhubarb737 Beautiful, but loose-fitting
I love this jacket in terms of its quality and its overall look, but for my build and perhaps my style preferences, it is a loose fit! I am early 30s, 5'75", 130-135lbs, hourglass shape. I tried the Misses Regular size 4 and then the Petite size 4. The Petite size improved the fit, but it was still somewhat loose in my mid section/arms and I didn't like the shorter body length in the petite. So, because I got the jacket on sale and because it is very nice quality, I kept the Regular 4 and took it to the tailor to have the body and arm bulk taken in and it looks great now. If this fits you to your taste, then it is a super nice jacket...

Rated 5 out of 5 by WestervilleShopper Good fit great fabric
The cut is generous without being boxy. I didn't want the jacket too fitted in case I wear a sweater as a base layer. I like the jacket and am thinking of donating my old black tweed Bean jacket that got plenty of wear but is not nearly as pretty.

A classic jacket and a must have staple for every preppy woman's wardrobe. My only complaint is that it did not come in a smaller size. I would have loved a 0P or 2P. I am 5ft 105# and I swim in the 4P. Despite the fit, I loved the jacket enough to keep it despite the boxy body (I had the arms hemmed). The good news is that I'll be able to layer with a sweater underneath in cooler weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SunbeltGirl Love this jacket!
I love everything about this jacket. I bought the black and white tweed. The cut, the styling, the color, the material, the buttons on the sleeves etc. is all just perfect.
I took it to my mom's for her to see and she liked it so much, she ordered the same one for herself.
I can see this with jeans and a turtle neck and black boots.
Or dress slacks and a shirt.
Either way, this is a winner.
I just can't wait for cold weather so I can wear it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by coldincalif Poor fit and strong chemical odor
I was so excited that this went on sale but disappointed with the item in general especially considering the cost. It had a tight fit through the shoulders (went with a 20P this time around and I am much smaller than the size chart for a size 20P) and the fabric/color was not what I had hoped for at all,
The color was the teal color but dull with black in it. I have returned this item for a refund and the one thing I really disliked about it was an awful strong chemical smell that my husband could detect across the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VirginiainVermont Beautiful Blazer
This is a soft, beautiful blazer with a classic style. Although I use LL Bean extensively for sport clothes and home products, I do not usually purchase more stylish items. In this case, I needed a brown toned blazer and took a chance. I am very happy with this beautiful jacket and know I will have it for a long time. It is warm, luxurious to the touch, fits well, and looks sleeker than the photo.
I usually take a size 6, but purchased the 8 petite because I have short arms. The size is just about perfect on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beancanada Runs small
This is a beautiful jacket. Very good quality and classy. Unfortunately it runs small, perhaps because it is tailored. I usually wear a 16 with big bust but had to return and order a size 18. I agree with the other reviews that label on the sleeve has to be removed very carefully with a seam ripper. The blue is a lovely shade. It is quite heavy so would be good for cool spring days.
