An anchor like this is needed in a wardrobe more inclined to choose adventure--good church lady piece. I am glad I picked up this bargain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rasabel Gorgeous fabric--dowdy style
The fabric and craftsmanship of this blazer could not have been of higher quality. It felt wonderful on. BUT, the styling--the shape and fit--was dowdy, extremely unflattering to my shape. The lapel fit so low that it made my bust look like it sagged near my waist. It also made me look wide in the middle. The bottom flared out and made my hips and waist look bigger than they are--it did not lay flat as on the model. Also, I agree with everyone who has complained about the label. WHY is that label sewn tight onto the outside of the sleeve?

Just got this jacket on your daily markdown at a great price. I couldn't be more pleased. The camel color is better than the picture describes and will go nicely with many different outfits (I like the mix of the light and dark browns). I sized up as I am in between a 10-12. The 12 fits perfectly and will even be good with a sweater underneath if needed. Do not find it boxy as other reviewer have stated. Probably because it fits my body type well. The tag on the pocket sure was difficult to remove. Also please note that the description of the fabric content is incorrect as it is only 10% cashmere not 20%!

In my opinion the jacket fit true to size and as described it is slightly fitted but not very fitted. I like the longer length. I have the black and it is quite attractive. I agree that the label is not easy to remove. I used a small seam ripper and was extremely careful. It turned out fine. I was happy to get such a great jacket on sale!

Rated 3 out of 5 by maui2 This is not a true camel color
I am 5? 2? and bought a petite size. Fit is fine, although a bit shorter on the hips than I like. I agree with other reviewers about the tag being on the outside of the sleeve... not good, but with careful cutting it can be removed. The reason I returned this blazer is because of the color. It looks camel online but in person it is a drab, odd, lighter brown. Maybe more like a British khaki than a camel, but not exactly a British khaki, either. Will work alright for a cool-based clothing palette but not for a warm-based one. And definitely not if you want a true camel color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by madcitywisgal Sizing is W-I-D-E -- such a pity!
I love the color, the fabric, and the style. I ordered the size 4, and the body of the jacket is huge. I think this might be a manufacturing defect since the product description calls this jacket "slightly fitted," and the jacket on the website model looks fitted. The shoulders and sleeves are fine, as it the length. The body is several inches too wide from the arm pit on down. Sad to say that it will go back tomorrow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Iluvmycat Love this jacket
I've been wearing this jacket for 10 plus years. I replaced it in the dark navy color and wanted to try the camel color. I didn't even try it on. The camel is a dingy camel color Very disappointed. It went right back. I'm 5'5" and 150 pds. I've gained weight so the size 8 I have in navy is too tight. I still wear it unbuttoned. It is a gorgeous jacket and keeps me warm in North Calif. I'm working out and hope to lose 20 pds and then this jacket would be comfortable and roomy for a sweater underneath I recommend this jacket just not the camel color so giving the camel color an average rating

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rhubarb737 Beautiful, but loose-fitting
I love this jacket in terms of its quality and its overall look, but for my build and perhaps my style preferences, it is a loose fit! I am early 30s, 5'75", 130-135lbs, hourglass shape. I tried the Misses Regular size 4 and then the Petite size 4. The Petite size improved the fit, but it was still somewhat loose in my mid section/arms and I didn't like the shorter body length in the petite. So, because I got the jacket on sale and because it is very nice quality, I kept the Regular 4 and took it to the tailor to have the body and arm bulk taken in and it looks great now. If this fits you to your taste, then it is a super nice jacket...

Rated 5 out of 5 by WestervilleShopper Good fit great fabric
The cut is generous without being boxy. I didn't want the jacket too fitted in case I wear a sweater as a base layer. I like the jacket and am thinking of donating my old black tweed Bean jacket that got plenty of wear but is not nearly as pretty.

A classic jacket and a must have staple for every preppy woman's wardrobe. My only complaint is that it did not come in a smaller size. I would have loved a 0P or 2P. I am 5ft 105# and I swim in the 4P. Despite the fit, I loved the jacket enough to keep it despite the boxy body (I had the arms hemmed). The good news is that I'll be able to layer with a sweater underneath in cooler weather.
