The older version had a pocket and a sleeve dividing it. I could fit my passport, my small camera and ID and room cards and cash. I am disappointed in this one. I had to replace mine because I lent it and it was not returned. The material on this one is nice, but I don't know why they had to change the design. LLBean has done this several times. Things I really liked, I try to reorder and they are either changed or discontinued. The zipper on the main part is too small, passport had to be folded, and I don't care for the small sideways zipper compartment. I wish my old one would come back to me!

This was such a handy item to have on my trip. It is small enough to be discrete but large enough to hold what you need to hold. I kept my passport, iPad touch, and cash in here and it was ideal. One thing I will say is that it is not large enough to fit passports with a cover but I did not see this as being too much of a problem. It has a cushiony back that makes it comfortable if you choose to wear it under your clothing. Very durable and convenient product!

This is a perfect holder for your passport, credit cards, and cash. Unfortunately, this is a must have item for travel to avoid pickpockets. It also allows you to have free hands while traveling and conceals your necessary travel items.
I wish I had given one to my daughter before her Fiji trip. She misplaced her passport on the commuter plane, and we all worried the rest of the trip. We had to get the Consulate staff involved, too. Fortunately for her, her passport was found.

Rated 2 out of 5 by HappilyRetired2 Opening too small
Fabric and color are nice, but the zipper openings are too small. A passport barely fits and when it's in the paper security cover, it won't fit in the opening. I'm returning this.

Bought this for my 17 y/o , school trip to Spain. Passport fits perfectly, although she will only carry a copy, teachers hold originals. Has plenty of room to carry a debit card and a small amount of cash, which is all she needs. Will update after she actually uses it in April. Seems like a quality Bean item so I think it will work out well

This is a fabulous item. It holds my passport and money separately. It is light and adjustable. It works so well I use it at home too!

I bought one each for my husband and myself. They just came and look great. There is no problem getting a US Passport in the holder. Maybe the complaints were for other passports. I really like the soft absorbent backing and the light weight. The light color can be worn under anything and the narrow strap is not conspicuous.

I bought this travel wallet primarily to hold my iPhone while hiking and using the GPS app to stay on course. The phone also has an extended life battery case which makes it a little too large for traditional phone cases. This travel wallet is the perfect size! The quality is great, it weighs almost nothing, and conveniently keeps the phone handy around my neck so I can frequently check the GPS.
It will also be excellent to keep my wallet and other valuables safe on trips where pick pockets are known to be such as NYC. I would certainly recommend this to anyone!

I bought two of these travel wallets for my wife and I for a recent trip to Costa Rico. We carried our passport with us at all times and money or other documents. They worked great.

I have purchased a total of three for family who live in a snow state, and am sure they will be well received.
I had one reservation in that some of the blogs mentioned the card holder is not securing the cards. I am passing that along with the gifts and telling them they may have to find a solution.
Otherwise I know they will find them very useful.
