Rated 5 out of 5 by BlueHiller Excellent Rain/Farm Pants
These are my go to rainy day pants for working on the farm. When it gets cooler I wear wool leggings which fit and wear perfectly with the comfortable cut of the pants. I love these pants because I can wear them with my normal leather belt and can go into town and look fairly normal (I wear the tan version). Material is strong which allows me to kneel on the cold, wet ground and not worry about ripping them. Considering that the other Bean "rain pants" look like thin track suits, I am surprised these are not marketed in that category as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BlueHiller Good Waterproof Pants (non-camo version)
I have the tan pair of rain chinos and they are excellent. They fit well, keep me very dry, and are lightweight. I like the roomy legs as they allow me to easily put on high boots beneath the pants. They make a swishing sound, but so did all the other types/brands of rain pants (in this price range) that I looked at before I bought these. I like the fact that I can use my own wide belt (also has interior waistband suspender points) to wear these as it holds my sheath well and also looks more like everyday pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BrittanysForGrouse Perfect wet weather hunting pant!
I took the waterproof chinos, not camo, to Maine this year and it was very wet. I wore these pants grouse hunting for 3 days and they kept me dry and quite comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they handled sticks and briars! I wore a very light weight wool under layer and it was a perfect combination.

Rated 1 out of 5 by incorrectlisting Pant legs too wide.
I returned these waterproof pants. They're described as chinos and that's what I thought they would would look like. But no. The pant legs are way to wide. Perhaps they are meant to be worn "over" another pair of pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RJfire Ok pants. Need improvement.
These pants fit well, with big legs. They are nice and light weight yet block the wind well, and are water proof for the most part. They are very noisy and with the wide legs, make even more noise. I've had mine for just over a year now and wearing them hunting the pants are wearing through on the lower legs from grass and briars. These could be great pants, if constructed a little better.

they are water proof but way too noisy for hunting if you are moving.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Seniorduckhunter Waterproof sportsmanship chinos
Don't get me wrong these pants are very well made and are a comfortable fit, but they are stiff, noisy and cold against the skin because they are not lined.
Years ago I purchased a pair of LL Bean waterproof gore-tex pants that were perfect. They were flexible, quite, lined and waterproof. I still have them after many years but they are well worn and not as waterproof as they once were. If you could make these pants available again with the added pockets of your new waterproof pants you would have a winner. The following is the information off the garment I.D. Tag.
Shell: 100 percent Nylon
Lining: 100 percent polyester RN 71341
And the best part, they were made in the USA
I will attempt to attach a photo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BirdsNDogs EXCELLENT !!!
I've been hunting birds for 55 years all over the country. In that time I've worn out or thrown out a pretty fair bunch of different makes & models: plain, fancy, bargains and budget busters.
I just wore a new pair of these waterproof chinos in a 2 week grouse hunt in Michigan's UP & I loved them. They're light, comfortable, absolutely water proof & were impermeable to thorns & briars.
If these things can hold up over time, they will have been the most ideal hunting pant I've owned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JFarm Not Bean Quality I have grown to expect
The pants seem loud/Krinkly... No zippers for boot access. The matching Jacket/Shell was a disappointment as well however the material was quiet. Why not make the pants out of the same material as the jacket?? No Drawstrings at the waist to keep the wind out and only 2 outer pockets on jacket. Come on LL.. I did like the MODB camo pattern and would have dealt with the jacket or ordered the more expensive technical coat if the pants were up to par. I read another review and it stated the Zip in fleece does not even have a drawstring... Just a $6.50 mistake for shipping charge on return no big loss...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Drahthaar Huge leg size
Got these pants a few days ago because I wanted a warm weather pant, that would repel water from the morning dew. They sure do that, wore them in the rain today for a few hours and was completely dry, nice and little. The only reason I didn't give them a 5, is the legs are huge! I wear a 34 waist and it is a little lose, but the 32 is to small. The leg size is not proportional to the waist on the 32 or 34 waist.
