I wear this all the time xcc sking. The windproof is great on long fast downhills. On colder days, layers nicely on top of some silk weight. I am 6'4"/215lbs and the XL size fits great...not short in sleeve or waist. Flared waist makes for easy movement at core. Will buy another one soon once some more colors are available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by orgnzd Great looking warm top
My son relocated and now runs in the cold winter. He also runs early in the morning when it's dark. This top fits the bill perfectly! It is attractive, the visibility lines really show up, and it's warm. He tried it out on a day when the temp was 16'. He only put a cotton t-shirt underneath it. He said about 2 or 3 miles into his run, he needed to unzip the neck. He was too warm (he also wore a face mask). I bought a Large. He is 6'2" and 180#. It fits great! I just washed it in cold water with a delicate load of wash. It says to Hang to dry. That's pretty easy care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chemwoman Yes! My 15 year old will actually wear it!
I bought this for my 15 year old son for an outer layer that he could layer under for cross-country skiing. He is 5'11" and 150 lbs and I bought a large hoping he would be able to keep this into adulthood. It is a bit big for him, but he doesn't swim in it.
When it came, he immediately put it on and it has been hard to get him out of it. I put the kabosh on him wearing it to school so that it would last. The crazy thing is that this is the kid who NEVER wears anything that I buy him, but he adores the way this feels and looks. Success!
He wore it last weekend xc skiing with a wool long sleeve long underwear top underneath when it was 30 and he was fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 works well
It fits to size. Comfortable at a wind chill of 20 degrees. The sleeves are not as protective as the body.

Sorry, not up to LL Bean standard, fit wise.
Fits snugly at chest (just right) but fits like a hula hoop at the waist.
Am not overly trim with 48"-50" chest x 40"waist.
Am never disappointed with LL Bean gear. This was definitely an exception.
Thanks for your always exceptional service over the years, even when we were assigned overseas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Runninginthedark Perfect for early morning winter runs
I usually run at 5am. Drivers usually are not yet fully awake or looking for runners. This has plenty of reflective stripes and patches. It's perfectly warm and breathes to keep me from overheating, and it's been effective at blocking cold morning breezes. Ran last week on a very damp and breezy 28 deg morning and was perfectly comfortable with a just wicking base layer underneath. I have all the Brookes nitelife too and I think this is a little better constructed and technically performing. ie. wicking and Thumb slot is nice addition and well constructed. I'm 6'2 and a 46" chest and an XL is a little snug, but not at all restrictive. Just know you won't be able to put lots of layers underneath, but then again, you probably won't have too..
