Rated 4 out of 5 by CyclingEnthusiast nice pants
These pants are great for work - a little dressy - and very comfortable. They wash well. However, they run very large. I normally wear a size 16 and in these a size 14 is looser than I would like. Would highly recommend overall, though.

I'm 5'9", slender with a 32 1/5 inseam so need Med/Tall. Love these pants, I have two pair; brown herringbone and gray. They are perfect for winter weather as I recently discovered - heavy weight, lined AND soft. They wash well with very slight shrinkage in length. I highly recommend line dry if you do not want these to shrink since they're cotton. I line dried and ironed with no problem. Would scoop up a pair in black too if they weren't sold out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MorningDove Good looking, lined pants
Nice, lined winter pants. The fit is a little off/ baggy in crotch. Im not sure if I will be keeping them. Otherwise, length is fine, they are comfortable, warm, very nice looking! Great color is easy to pair with just about any color shirt.

I recently bought the charcoal herringbone pants. They are flattering, comfortable and warm. They look like wool even though they feel a bit like flannel. I think they are misnamed "weekend pants" as for me, these will be for work, in lieu of a skirt, suit, dress or wool slacks. I love that they go in the washing machine. I am 5'6.5" tall and weight 145 lbs. I found the size 8 medium tall fit well. I am very pleased with the pants and recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SJLLBeanFan Best warm pants EVER - wtg for black size 10!
I have 2 pairs of the weekend pants (and you should change the name - I wear these to work during the week!): Hidden comfort waist in Black herringbone plaid, and regular waist in Camel. I have unsuccesfully been trying to find lined wool trousers for years. I can stop looking! These pants are warm, comfortable, and stylish. Hard to believe they are not wool! As soon as they become available again in Black size 10, I'll be ordering another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1TallGirl Just the pants I've been looking for
I'm 5'9", slender and leggy (late 40s). I have curves but unlike others I've read here I do not have a tiny waist so traditional Bean pants don't always fit. I tried a pair of regular 10 in the store, they fit awesome except for the length but I expected that. The waist was perfect, fit my hips well and had good drape. This is a winter weight garment and the lining is a plus. Ordered the herringbone in brown and grey 10 MedTall. Can't wait to get them to see if they fit as I hope.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kakacurt Legs are not tapered
I love the quality of the cloth. However, the legs are not at all tapered. I bought the same size in a different cloth last year. However, this pair appears to be one size bigger.. Will have to return them.

Forgot to mention that both the weekend pants, the heathered and the herringbone colors, are not true to size.... They run large...order down a size or two..otherwise they are great fall and winter weekend pants.

In my opinion, these weekend herringbone pants are not for everyday knocking around wear....They are dressier!
Got a pair of the grey heather several years ago and they still look & feel brand new, even with a lot of wear. Just got another pair of weekend pants in herringbone. A great addition to your winter wardrobe. Easy to launder and comfortable on & the lining is the same length as the pant, not just below the knee...and Another great garment from llbean!
