Rated 5 out of 5 by maineartteacher89 Super-soft, great for everyday wear
I bought this shirt last month and love its soft feel! I have found the fabric to be plenty thick, even after five or six times through the washer and dryer so far, despite a few other reviews that suggested the fabric becomes a little thinner with repeated use. The stripe pattern is flattering and the collar is a little wider than a typical crew neck, but very comfortable. Medium is true to size for me; I usually wear a medium and am about 5'6'' and 145 lbs. I anticipate wearing this a lot through the fall and winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vermonter4Life Soft and long enough
I LOVE these shirts! I wear a large shirt and this shirt fit perfect. It does cling a bit so if you like them loose, this may not be the right shirt for you. It's ooohhhh so soft and long enough that when you bend over, your backside won't be showing. I'm 5'2" 160 lbs.
I bought these shirts last year and jumped at the opportunity to buy more when they came on the 2 a day sale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ElizaAnne Way Too Thin
I was expecting a cushier fabric. In reality, the fabric is as thin as any summer top wear I've purchased from L.L. Bean. The pattern is very pretty (in cream) so I will keep the shirt. I am glad I did not order two, as was the original plan. I will look for something warmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mmamma Wish for more solid color options
These are plenty comfy: soft fabric with a bit of stretch. And they come in petite sizes. I would buy more if there were more color options for the solid shirts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ningu Comfortable tee
This striped tee is a nice combination of colors, fits well and it is wonderfully soft. But the neck line is really big. At my age I would rather not show off so much neck in a crew. It would probably be fine for a younger person.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lovethebirds Good top for early fall and spring
I bought this because I liked the green stripe combination which is really pretty. I've washed it and it definitely needed ironing touch up. My first impression is that the knit is just a bit lighter weight than my last years purchase but I can't be sure until I pull them out later in the fall. As I am usually wearing these tees as an underlayer it doesn't bother me too much but not if they get any thinner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tarheelbuyer Not the usual LLBean quality
Love the fabric but the band around the neck gets all out of shape and even with ironing looks terrible. I am disappointed in the quality of the construction and hope this is not the way LLBean will go in the future!

Rated 2 out of 5 by beanie09 "long" story
bought 2 of these.but can only return one because I wore 1 all day. Colors are great & so is material but the fit is odd- they are much too long- too bunchy to tuck in &l look untidy hanging out.

I wear a Large usually in LL BEAN tees, and Med. in corduroy Big shirts, the Large fit roomy not too tight not too loose, room for some shrinkage, the sleeves are long comes a little beyond wrist, usually sleeves are too short for me from other stores, I like the muted colors I got one with blues, matches my navy & pine colored Big shirt, I wear jeans most time so blue will match well. The fabric is a thinner cotton, great for layering or in Spring time or summer nights.

This shirt is very soft, stretchy and comfortable. The pattern is beautiful with the variety of colours and stripes.(oranges and pinks; I also have the matching scrunchneck, also in the blues:beautiful) The longer length is so flattering. Laundering is easy; I believe there was no shrinkage. The long sleeve style is perfect for all seasons: sun protection or layering or on its own.I have muscular arms and the sizing is perfect.
