Rated 5 out of 5 by SedonaHiker Nice Shirt with a Few Surprises
I just received the dark loden color of this shirt and was immediately pleased. The flannel material feels a bit heavier than most I've owned and will come in handy during cool Fall and Winter nights. Also, on closer inspection I discovered a herringbone pattern woven into the flannel material - a nice touch. I've already worn it once and it is very comfortable and soft on the skin. Recommended.

Nice shirt, soft, great quality- 4 inches larger in the waist than other shirts in traditional fit category, Lots of time wasted when it seems that many, but not all of the shirts we ordered last year stepped up one size and not reflexed in the size chart

I now have three of these shirts bought over the last couple of years. I am 6' & 160lbs with 19" shoulders & 34" waist. I normally wear a 16x34 or large shirt. My first one of these shirts was a large and the sleeve covered most of my hand. I exchanged it for a medium and it was a perfect fit. Some folks here feel these shirts are baggy around the waist, I actually consider them to be a fairly trim comfortable cut.
Most of my other brand flannel shirts pile by the second year, these do not! Just purchased another one this month!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HILLBILLIE Flannel shirt with classy weaving
These shirts are warm and well fitting. Being available without plaids makes them quite Classy with jeans or khakis. The herringbone weave adds to the business casual look. I enjoy the Bright Navy, Russett and an older tan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wishinthemountains Get rid of the new "neck tag"
Wicked Good Flannel shirts continue to be outstanding products. However, for some reason LLBean chose to sew a tag in the neck stating the shirt is "Traditional Fit". Wonderful...now every time that tag scratches my neck I will know I have a 'traditional' shirt on. Needless to say I will be getting my seam ripper out to take out the tag and hoping I don't catch any of the shirt fabric while doing that.
LLBean, please don't put tags along the neck of your shirts.

great shirt. wonderful feel. beware these run a size bigger than the normal flannel shirts. deciding weather to return or not for a smaller size. I have washed and dried once and doesn't appear to be any shrinking at all as with other flannels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigFoot1942 I Can't Stop Buying These Fabulous Shirts!
I can't recall when I bought my first 'Wicked Good Flannel Shirt', but over the years I've purchased 9 of these! They have worn astonishingly well, and they all hang in my closet awaiting Fall and Winter. I used to go for the stonewashed canvas long-sleeved shirts, but these are superior in all respects: durability, appearance out of the dryer, shrink-resistance, and warmth all while remaining classically fashionable. I've not come close retiring any of them because of wear and tear, fit, or style.
Keep 'em coming!

I have ordered many of these shirts for my my husband and two grown sons. Someone just pilfered my sons Black Watch shirt to his great dismay. I ordered the blue plaid one. It is slightly shorter in the sleeves and a bit tighter in the shoulders. This is the first time I have had fit issues with the flannel shirts. I don't know if it was a one off mistake on the assembly line. It is a medium. The fabric also seems slightly thinner, as my son has another one in a red plaid. I wish that LLBean would stick to their guns and try to keep things consistent. This has been the m ain reason I have spent tens of thousands of dollars over the course of 25 years shopping at LL Bean.
