Rated 5 out of 5 by AHomeShopper Fine classic dress shirt
I'm 5' 10" 150lbs and usually take a 15 1/2 x 34. This shirt in that size fits me just right. Cloth feels good, nice styling, bean quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RJC1 Literally Fell Apart
Purchased this shirt in February 2014. After wearing it approximately 15 times, the buttonhole on one of the cuffs unraveled. After 5 months and perhaps 20 wearings, the fabric has split apart on both sleeves at the elbow. Unbelievably poor quality. Sending back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RJK1 Great Dress ?Shirt
This is a quality dress shirt from L L Bean. Great by itself, with a sport coat or suit and with or without an undershirt or tie. I prefer to wear it with a tailored suit and no tie. The material is soft, comfortable against the skin and very wrinkle resistant. It is a little shiny compared to the classic oxford cloth shirt, but no more than any other pinpoint oxford. The fit is more tailored than the standard fit which I like in a dressier shirt and I would not want it any more fitted. Yes, the cuff buttons are located in a place that allows me to fit my very large hand through the already buttoned cuff. It's not much trouble to add a button or relocate the single button. Overall, I'm very pleased with these shirts and the cuff issue is not enough to loose a star over given the price and quality. Two white, two blue and one blue stripe covers my sporadic need to dress nice and matches my three tailored suits and sport coat. L L Bean, fix the cuff button if you'd like but don't change anything else!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Neils Good shirts
I ordered few shirts from LLbean recently and this one in my mind stood out for its quality compared to others. The fabric feels strong. Finish is great...more formal than other shirts...perhaps that is why it is not called a "sport" shirt.
I however have few issues -
1. The shirt is shorter in general. I am 5'9" and 140...very lean. Compared to other shirts (small sized) this one has sleeves at least inch short! They are barely enough for me. Same goes with overall length.
2. For a slightly fitted,it feels loose compared to other shirts similarly tailored. Its loose in sleeves and body.
3. Unlike other shirts this one does not have two buttons at cuffs. I have slim wrists and its hassle to move the single button to right cuff size. Other cheaper shirts have double buttons on cuff, why not on this more expensive one? ridiculous way to save money Bean.
I may keep it if I feel good enough about bright white color and fabric...but somewhat of a disappointment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VAHiker9 Needs second cuff button / large fit
I agree with several of the other reviews for this shirt. Great shirt, except the cuffs are HUGE, and there is no second button. Also, the "slightly fitted" is not that. It is very wide. I ordered two of these, and sent them both back. If they would fix this issues, I'd order ten of these!

Rated 2 out of 5 by joelo2 ripped sleeves
Both sleeves ripped along the seam, the left sleeve is about 1 inch in length and the right sleeve is about 3 inches in length. The rip is about in the middle of each sleeve. Almost all of my shirts are from LL Beam and they have been great, good quality shirts. The material on this shirt is thin and this may have been why this happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hawkman Would like more colors
I like this shirt a lot. It isn't too fitted and it isn't baggy either. Looks good out of the dryer and still crisp. I'd like additional colors to choose from and I'd buy more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by nickname31112 not trim
I ordered two shirts, one item 278348, the other this shirt. Both were marked slightly fitted. the 27834 fit beautifully. This one is baggy and has to go back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LLBeanFanSince77 Slighted Fitted = Classic Fit
I've purchased this shirt for my son in the past and it was classified as a "Trim/Slim" fit. The salesman told me this was the same shirt re-named. It is not. The body is huge, definitely a "classic" fit, neither trim nor slim. Has to go back, and now the hunt begins anew for a shirt that fits a slim man. Does anyone make shirts for slim men anymore?

Rated 4 out of 5 by BeanBoyJr still has the same problem of short body
These are some of the best non-iron shirts still available. Other brands I have ordered now only promise to be non-iron for 25-30 washes. Unfortunately I these shirts are too short in the body to stay tucked in - at least for those of us who need a 34/35 sleeve. They say they are proportioned but longer sleeves require longer bodies. Wish this could be corrected so I could buy a lot more. Also shirt sleeve could be a bit slimmer in upper arm to match the trimmer fit body. Lastly, I have found shirt sleeve length to be a problem. Have sent a few back because shirt sleeve was made too short - and cuff too tight to fit watch under it.
