This duvet would be just right except for one thing -- it CRACKLES! With every little move, NOISE. Can't stand it, nor can my spouse. Gave it plenty of time to quiet down, but alas, it's not happening, so I am returning it. If the same product were quiet, I would rate it a 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nancymj58 Love this comforter
This comforter is fabulous -- it doesn't feel heavy on top of you but it is incredibly warm. Previously we had an electric blanket, and this comforter is warmer. Even when temperatures go down to single digits and into the negative numbers with the wind chill, we're plenty warm enough. Our cat absolutely loves it; he spends his days curled up on it, and we joke about the big dent he leaves when he gets up. This was a Christmas gift two years ago, and I don't know how I survived winter without it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DebLynnG We are Loving it!! So Soft and Warm!
When I decided to re-do the colors in our bedroom, I decided to try this comforter with a comforter cover as a starting point. Originally we bought this in the warmer style.. but it was way too warm (I had to kick it off me during the night) so we exchanged for the warm style. I also bought a solid flannel cover for the winter. We live in southern VA, and this comforter with the cover has been perfect as the weather here was extra chilly the past 2 weeks. It did take quite a while to figure out how to put the cover on (first time using a cover) - in a king size no less!- but LLBean assisted via the chat function! Grateful for the loops and ties!! It took a little while to get it smoothed out and adjusted just right. But - now that it is on... we are LOVING this comforter! It keeps us warm , but not too warm. It is a little crinkly - as was the 1st one - but with the cover on we hardly notice it at all. Its just so soft and comfortable - both my husband and I actually are trying to get to bed earlier just to be in it!! I"m hoping that I can switch to a percale cover for the spring (maybe summer?) and that we can use it year round. Really happy with it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HolyMoly Daughter loves it!
I bought this for my daughter who wanted something to keep her warm during our cold Maine winter nights and this does the trick. I asked her about the crinkly noise and she says she notices it but doesn't mind it - in fact likes the sound, so zero complaints. Warm & cozy is the feedback she gave me.

LOVE THIS COMFORTER, WARM BUT LIGHT. LL BEAN RARELY DISSAPOINTS. THE QUEEN SIZE WAS JUST RIGHT. PURCHASED ONE FOR SKEPTICAL PARENTS, THEY WERE VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

The construction quality is high and it keeps us warm on cold nights without the weight of several blankets. The fabric noise is present, but it is not a problem for me.

This is a great comforter, not heavy or too warm. We purchased the warm vs. warmer ( even for Maine climate). It fits the Queen bed to size and we've enclosed it in the 340ct. Sateen Comforter
Cover in the Khaki, which looks beautiful on! Another reviewer suggested a KING size comforter a better choice for the queen size bed. We tried this and immediately found this not such a good idea as It hung way too long on the sides. We made an exchange for the QUEEN size and are very happy with how this fits. So ADVISE NOT TO ORDER KING SIZE for QUEEEN SIZE BEDS.

Another great product. Was worried that "warm" would be to light. Not a problem, warmer would have been too hot. Some complain of the "crinkly" noise, but though I hear it, it doesn't disturb my sleep.
