This is a nice comforter but way too much unless you sleep somewhere really cold. I tried using it for several nights when the house was in the low sixties and was way too hot. I also find the weight rather oppressive. I'm keeping it because I like the look with the cover I bought for it but just pull it down to the foot of the bed every night.

Stop shopping. You found the right comforter. I just purchased the third comforter for my wife's family. Very warm and easy to maintain in a regular front load washer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VAshopper2015 warm and light weight BUT
I first bought this comforter in a twin and thought it was lightweight and warm. So I bought another one in a queen. Then I took the twin comforter out of the cover to wash it and the inside of the cover was covered in the microfibers. Every time I take the comforter out to wash the cover it's the same. Had I known about this problem sooner I would not have bought the queen size. I would not recommend this product.

This is a very, very warm blanket. My husband and I love the blanket. I also bought a flannel comforter for the blanket. The hooks on the comfort make it easier to keep in place without using safety pins. We are so warm and comfortable in the blanket that in the morning we don't want get out of bed. Love, Love the blanket!!!!!

As an asthma sufferer who is allergic to dust/mites, I can't use down (although I have used it and love it). This Primaloft comforter is the closest I've found to down. I don't know why it crinkles quite so much, but the crinkles die down in a duvet and don't really bother me. I have the King and it is huge on our bed. When not in a duvet, it is actually so big I fear it hitting the floor (bad for allergies). It is really warm and light and easy to clean. The associate at Bean's in Freeport told me she's had hers for over 10 years and it is still going strong. Sold.

Just removing this product from the box, I knew I could NEVER keep it. The cover made so much NOISE, that I could not imagine trying to sleep with it on the bed. VERY disappointed. Apparently. I am not the only one to complain about the poor quality of the cover; I can not attest to its warmth as I shoved it directly back into the box it came in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Delspark Definitely CRINKLES--big time!
I am planning on keeping my comforter, but as so many reviews have pointed out, it DOES crinkle--a lot, in my opinion. So every time you move in bed, there is going to be noise. I wish I had paid more and ordered real down; but for a lot of people, the noise doesn't seem to be a problem. I thought putting the comforter inside the flannel duvet would help, but it doesn't do anything to quiet the rustle.

Didn't expect plastic-y layer that crinkles. Nice and warm though. I think I would look for one that is quieter next time.
