The silk underwear Is well constructed and fits nicely under outer clothing. The scoop neck hides its presence under shirts. Very light weight so it is not bulky.

Very soft and comfortable next to skin; good as an underlayer. Problem is, it gets holes/runs so quickly. Also, the wrist-cuffs quickly lose all elasticity. I wear one of these shirts daily (skin problem) and need to have a couple of others always on hand; I wish they didn't cost quite so much. Nevertheless I'll continue to purchase them for the softness and comfort ... their best features.

Bought it, wore it, washed it once (exactly as recommended on tag), it shrunk up considerably. Not happy.

These are splendid, with the long legged pants to match, and the silk jersey fabric is far more comfortable against the skin than the pointelle. Please offer some in warm weather styles in short sleeves and scoop neck. The white is pretty. We use these as basic underwear, pyjamas and an unobtrusive layer for colder weather dressing. They pack light and small, and dry very rapidly when travelling.

I am very happy with this scoopneck silk underwear. It is very soft, smooth, and comfortable to wear and gives just the right amount of extra warmth in cold weather when worn under my regular clothing. I wash it in a mesh bag in a regular load of laundry and dry it briefly in the dryer before hanging it up to air dry.

I received this silk top and it is lightweight and very comfortable. Would recommend to others. Does not add bulk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dutchmamaof4 Thin
I ordered the top & bottom to take to Japan this spring, knowing the weather could potentially be quite cool and don't want to travel with anything heavy. I think they will work fine, however, the top is not as long as I'd like. They are very thin, and you can see right through them so cannot wear on its own. I took it to montana this week and it was comfortable, but naturally still had on my hot chillys, a turtle neck, sweater & jacket over it, so hard to say if it did any good. The reviews said it kept people warm, but it was hard to say it was much more than a thin silk top. They run quite large, I am a size 14 top & 5'7" but not real busty and purchased the XL and its baggy across the chest. A large would probably fit better, but I'm afraid it will be even shorter. I like the little detail around the neck.

Love the light but warm first layer without adding bulk. A must have especially this super cold winter!

Rated 3 out of 5 by suttonfran Inadequate fabric, sleeves almost too short
I have other silk underwear tops whose fabric is a bit more substantial than this one - as this one *should* be : mine came with snags in the fabric and I've acquired a number of other snags since. I guess it doesn't matter as its an underlayer, but still...
The fit is ok - it'd be better if a v-neck were available, or at least without the scallop neck trim, or just a little wider neck? - the sleeves are long enough, but only just.

Fabric is a bit on the thin side, but it is a nice warm base layer, silky smooth under other clothing. Good degree of warmth for its lack of weight and bulk.
