Rated 3 out of 5 by ColdinGA Very short inseam
The lining was very soft and warm. It may have made the inseam shorter than a normal size 6. I had to return them because they were so short!

I don't usually write reviews. I am an ample / rubenesque / plus sized woman who loves outdoor recreation. Many companies don't offer high quality active clothing for sizes like me. Not L.L.Bean! They have always been my go-to company for everything I need for hiking, paddling, snow sports, etc.
About the pants, I'm 5'8", 220lbs (18w) and pear-shaped. It's hard for me to find pants that fit my waist, hips and thighs without gaps or snugness. I bought the size 20 pants and they fit perfectly. They're a tad long, grazing the tips of my boot laces. But they're so comfortable! I hiked 4 miles in 38F weather without base layer and was not cold at all. I found the movement to be perfect and no part of the pant was binding (waist, crotch, thigh). The waist didn't gap either, keeping my top tucked in too. I noticed the waist is adjustable as well.
Thank you L.L.Bean for thinking of women with all shapes and sizes and encouraging them to get outdoors by providing high quality clothing that works for everyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by junglejane unlined area better fit
i have several pairs of the Comfort Trail Pants, skort and capris. I love them. However the lined version, as comfy as it feels, doesn't fit in the same size. The lining does not stretch as much and it takes up some of space that i need. The next size up didn't fit at all well.

Good-looking flannel lined pants are hard to find and these are excellent. Has extras for comfort such as double seams, lined zipper, formed waistband and smooth fabric. Runs just a bit short. Nice.

I own 3 pair of the unlined petite version of these pants and absolutely love them. Went ahead and purchased the regular length of the lined pant - love the weight and the lining[feels wonderful] but would really love for them to come in the petite length.

Rated 1 out of 5 by reviewsarehelpful sized much smaller than in 2012!!
I purchased a pair of unlined pants exactly like these 2 years ago and wear them all the time. When my new purchase of a lined pair, and an unlined pair in the same size as previously purchased, arrived last week, they were about 2 sizes too small! When I returned them to the store I was told that the manufacturers "change all the time". This makes it nearly impossible to buy anything on-line and know that it will fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by StoneRiverGold Great pant but too short at 30.5"
I lived in the Comfort Trail Crops this past summer and fall and was hoping to love these as much. And I did, but had to send them back as they are just too short. I measured them at 30.5" on a Size 10 and at 5'5" I am hardly considered tall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Northerndweller Love these pants
I wore the unlined version of these pants extensively this past summer and was excited to find them in the lined version. I have found the size 6 at L. L. Bean to be very consistent no matter the style, and these pants are no exception. I was afraid the lining would make me appear heavier, but they are very stylish and slimming, and so practical for our northern winters. I will be wearing these all winter for sure! Please, please make them in Navy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by grammybeanaholic Just found the perfect cool weather pant!
While I have been a fan of the Comfort Trail pants and capris, they can be too light for chilly fall days and I only wear them inside in the winter. So yesterday when I first wore the new lined version...well, it was heavenly! Warm without bulk, fit as well as the unlined (I had been concerned that the extra fabric would make them tight) and looked fabulous.
Yesterday I watched a granddaughter's Fun Run in 40 degree temps, today was two soccer matches in the high 40's and I was comfortable the entire time. These are a huge HOME RUN....how about more colors?
