I like the material of this top, but the cut is too short and boxy.

This is a lovely silky top with a flattering neckline. I purchased my normal size-- petite medium and it fits beautifully. I might have preferred slightly shorter sleeves but it is still nice. I think it will be great for warmer weather but it can also be worn underneath a heavier top or with an open shirt. Wish this came in a long-sleeve version.

Have several Pima Cotton Tees, elbow sleeve and short sleeve in different colors. Unfortunately the black tee's develop holes in the fabric after only a few washes. I don't have this issue with any of the other colors. Would not recommend the black pima cotton tee.

I love the elbow-length sleeves. The fabric is so soft, even dreamy! However, the body of these pima-cotton tees is far too short!!! By comparison, pima and supima tees from another manufacturer are 2' to 2 1/2" longer in the body (torso length -- from shoulder seam to hem)!!!
Why do I have to sacrifice garment (torso) length to get the sleeve length?? People are getting taller with each generation, not shorter. It's time to follow the trends, instead of fighting them!

I have several of these shirts. The Coral Rose is lovely, but I returned the Fiery Red (too bright for me!). The neckline and sleeves are so flattering. I am short waisted, the Regular Large fits well . No shrinkage, even when by mistake I washed warm and dried medium hot.

but I also only wash them in cold water. I would not recommend them to people who are not short-waisted, as these shirts even get a little short on me. I would love it if they offered this shirt in separate lengths to fit differently sized women. I do love the elbow sleeves and scoop neck and different colors. I have bought a bunch of these shirts, but then I am an odd size and they fit me.

I love the elbow-length sleeves, but I had the same problem as many other customers in that after one washing (in accordance with the instructions), the shirt shrunk in length to just below the belly-button. While that's a cute look for my God-daughter, I'm not keen on wearing t-shirts that potentially bare the mid-section. LL Bean has an excellent guarantee policy, so I'll definitely be returning the four t-shirts in this style that I purchased. Hopefully LL Bean can remedy this problem.

Unlike other reviews, I liked the length of the shirt....but I am a plus-sized petite woman. I found the sleeves to be loo long - they hit right at/a tiny bit below my elbows, which was an awkward length. I had to return it for this reason.

Based on my past experience with ordering LL Bean and the size guide - I ordered a 1X. While the longer sleeve length is nice and the feel of the cotton is wonderful - the shirt is really really short.
LL Beans needs to understand that usually the women ordering 1X is due to our chest size. I am a size 38G on top and after the shirt drapes over my chest area, the bottom hem is 1 inch below my belly button. This shirt is 1 inch away from a crop top shirt. Even in the back area it falls at the top of my hips.
The problem doesn't end there. After it drapes over my chest area, the rest looks like a flared tent over my midsection. I'm 5'8" and generally wear a size 16 on my bottom section, but have to order 1X for the tops. I cannot wear this shirt out of the house, especially in the winter, as just raising my arms slightly exposes the entire middle section of my torso.
I've found that generally LL Bean shirts are very very short, and this one is shorter than most. Ladies - if you have a large chest size, stay away from this shirt.

I have ordered several (maybe two each year) of these tops and loved them when I wore them for the first time. I wash them in cold water and dry on drying rack - no dryer at all. I now have maybe eleven shirts that have shrunk and are too short from top to bottom. Where is this "Tested to ensure the fabric and fit remain the same, wash after wash?" I don't see it in any one of my tops but I have now learned my lesson - no more of these tops; I don't care how well I like the scoop neck and elbow length sleeves. Sorry L.L. Bean, you can do better than this!
