They seem to run a bit large, once exchanged (a painless process). there was almost no break-in. Was looking for a casual late fall/winter/spring shoe and have found one. Rated 4 out of 5�by Ladeom717 Nice Boots At first the right shoe was digging into my right ankle. It took wearing it a few times for it to adjust and now it's fine. It looks good with jeans and does well with snow slick surfaces and wet conditions with traction. It's made of excellent quality leather and very repellent to moisture. The fit is a little big if you don't have a EE wide foot,so would suggest you go down a half size, they do fit a little big. . I really like the boots but be aware it may take a little time to break them in. March 6, 2013

My husband takes a 12 Wide, very hard to find, so we were thrilled when they had them in his size. Upon trying them, it was disappointing to find that even the wide width rubbed on the sides of his foot. We reluctantly sent them back. I certainly encourage anyone to try them, as the difficulties he had might be unique to his foot. February 27, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5�by Kooch Comfortable and good fit These shoes are great looking and the leather is very good quality. I wear/ordered 13EE and they fit perfect. They were nice and warm as well. The reason I returned these boots is 3 fold.......1. the neoprene collar around the insert rubbed the skin raw just below ankle (left foot only) 2. The tongue joins the shoe so low below the bottom of the laces that the tongue kept falling down and bunching up. 3. Traction (snow, slush, ice) was mediocre at best. I liked the looks of them so much I tried ignoring the problems I was having because I really wanted to keep them but it didn't make sense to do so. February 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by BeanBob2 excellent boot I highly recommend this boot. I wear a 10.5 EE and the fit is perfect espeically when wearing LL Bean lightweight hiking socks. I also have a pair of the slip ons in this style, but so far I prefer the boot since it protects the ankle in cold weather. Both styles track well in rain, snow and ice. February 21, 2013
