I read the reviews before my purchase. Truth to tell, i assumed it was a good leather glove, though not necessarily good for touch screens. it is soft, not particularly bulking on the fingers (but not snug either). if looking for a leather glove and you are a big man (i am 6'3" 220 lbs) i recommend this.

Having had several pairs of L.L. Bean deerskin gloves over the years (which are sadly no longer available) and been extremely satisfied with the quality and sizing (I'm usually a medium with long fingers), I was surprised that the medium pair of the Touchscreen Casual Leather Gloves I sent for were way too tight. The thumbs on both hands were stitched so tight I couldn't get my thumbs into them and the leather on the right hand had been cut at the joint so you could see through to the liner. I returned them and ordered a pair of the Men's Casual Leather gloves which I've had before and they came in slightly larger than the pair I bought two years ago - but wearable.

Rated 4 out of 5 Bought These for My Dad for Christmas 2014
I bought these gloves for my Dad for Christmas 2014, and I am very impressed. The craftsmanship is spectacular, and they're wonderfully warm. I hope my father is just as impressed with them as I am!

Gloves fit well and are Nice and warm. Not sure about the touchscreen part I can't use my phone with them on but who needs to use the phone while your rushing someplace in the cold anyway

These gloves were a birthday present for my husband. Since the start of all our cold weather we have been looking for a good pair of warm gloves that can grip a steering wheel - these gloves do the job and look great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WW2ClassicLover Not as Advertised
I usually take a large in a glove and so that is what I ordered expecting the fingers to be a tight fit as advertised. The were not. Instead were rather loose fitting. I kept them because they are very good gloves, but I am a bit disappointed as to the fit. To me it is not as advertised. If you intend to purchase these gloves, I would suggest going a size lower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MasterD Must have witch fingers...
The materials seemed to be of very good quality - no problem there. However, when I put the gloves on I had 3/4 to a full inch of extra finger length. I don't have huge hands nor infant hands, but I ordered a Med and my palm fit perfectly. So, be careful if you don't have fingers like a witch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by OutdoorsUser Okay. Definitely Cheaper Than Previous Models
I have purchased these gloves four or five times in the past 15 years due to normal wear and tear. This pair is definitely less substantial than the previous pairs, all of which were the same. The leather is thinner and shiny instead of the thicker matte finish of the previous pairs. The description does say the insulation is Thinsulate now, and it's definitely thinner. I haven't had a chance to test that out.
I would prefer the older more substantial pairs, particularly for the thickness and perceived durability and appearance of the leather.
