These gloves were great for about a month, but then the touchscreen pads failed completely and a hole developed between the fingers. They only lasted three months.

Rated 2 out of 5 by UncleTravelingMatt Comfortable gloves, Poor Touchscreen capabilities
I bought these gloves to wear to and from the car, as well as on occassional walks, jogs, or hikes. However I really wanted them for their touchscreen capability. At first, they seemed to work great. However after only a couple of months of use, I found that the touchscreen technology of the glove no longer worked at all!! Turns out a friend of mine who had the same exact gloves, found that his weren't working anymore either!!
I would have given these one star if not for the gloves themselves feel nice. I would not suggest these gloves to a friend, but would possibly suggest save the extra $ and try the regular Powerstretch gloves instead. Needless to say, this pair of gloves went back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by nemecky sizing is off
I ordered the L size, and they are way too big. In fact, they are so big that the touchscreen function is almost useless. In general I think they are just too long.
I am 6'4, 200+ lbs and don't think my hands are that small, and even used the measuring chart suggested by LL bean. But, the tips of the gloves are about 1/2in too long, which as I stated above is not very helpful when trying to type on an iphone. Even when I pull the gloves all the way up, they reach well into my forearm and just slide back down.
I guess they are fairly warm, not really sure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dano21 Warm, but touch screen tips have failed
Warm gloves, form fitting and nice styling.
But I bought these gloves for the touchscreen capability. That lasted about a week, and then failed. After the gloves were washed, it failed completely.
The touchscreen capability appears to come from metallic fabric which is looped into the finger holes. However, when the gloves were turned inside out (after they stopped working), that fabric was frayed and disconnected providing no conduit to the outer covering.
These will be going back. I may try again, but it was a big disappointment.

I purchased these gloves for my husband - they are a hit! The fingertips work as described, and the overall fabric is light weight, soft and warm. He definitely recommends these gloves!

The gloves seem fine. I live in Chicago, so the weather can get cold. I have not had them long enough to see how they behave in ?real? cold, although, thus far they have done well in 30 degree temperature. They are sort of thin, so I do not believe they will be the only ones to have for sub-zero Chicago winters. They do look good and feel wonderful on the hands. I would definitely buy them again as a second pair for general wear in activities which do not require extended time out in heavy cold.

I am from SE Michigan and needed a good pair of gloves for the winter and I thought these would fit the bill. I was a little hesitant to purchase them at first because there were not many reviews, but I am glad I took the chance.
In terms of construction, the gloves appear to be well made with quality Polartec materials. They are fairly thin so I don't know how well much warmth they'll provide (haven't had the opportunity to test them out yet). The fleece material is great and Polartec's "power stretch" has it's benefits and drawbacks. One benefit is that the outer layer feels a little like a thick spandex which allows one to slide the gloves on effortlessly. The problem, however, is that because they are stretchy material, I have to pull them pretty far back to get them to seat nicely on my hands. I ordered a medium--I did the whole tape measure thing and have 8 1/2" hand--and it fits a little loose in the fingers. But if you just pull the glove more taunt, the excess is taken up if that makes any sense.
The touchscreen material works as advertised but since there is some wiggle room in the fingers, I continually have to pull my gloves taunt in order to use them in conjunction with my iPhone. Not a big deal but worth noting. I wouldn't suggest sizing down because the gloves fit perfectly fingers notwithstanding; however, just be aware that there may be more play in the fingers than one might wish. Your miles may vary.
In terms of aesthetics, they look really sharp. The thinness of the material gives the gloves a sleek look and the outer material give the fleece gloves a more sophisticated (read: expensive) look than they actually are. Plus, since the gloves are relatively thin, there is no bulkiness to mess with you getting into and out of pockets.
I wouldn't suggest purchasing these as your only winter gloves, but driving around town, walking outside, perhaps using them for a run, are all fine activities that I could imagine using these gloves for. Although I haven't tested this, I could definitely see these being used in conjunction with a larger, heavier outer glove as a type of liner.
