Rated 1 out of 5 by Fishin4Point Definitely "UN-WATERPROOF" Gloves
The first time I used these gloves, I pulled up the anchor rope on the boat and my hands were soaking wet. They are NOT waterproof. I have been an avid LLBean shopper all my adult life and this is the only item I have ever purchased that I have been disappointed in. Is there any way to return for a full refund? I've bought better gloves at a discount store. Has anyone else had this problem? I fish in the winter and need gloves that keep my hands dry.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MattK87 Wouldn't buy it again
I received these gloves as a Christmas present a couple years ago and the gloves are extremely comfortable and waterproof. However, after 2 years of moderate use, the seams have begun to separate where the rubber meets the neoprene. Not only that, your hands smell horrible after wearing them. I certainly would not buy these again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jimmy77777 Stinky and poorly made
I originally bought the gloves to wear when washing the car on cold windy days. This is when I first noticed a strong petroleum odor in the gloves and on my hands upon removal. Perspiration may have activated this. I used them again when shoveling the snow from the front walkway. While doing this, I noticed that the left glove had separated where the neoprene palm surface attaches to the glove material, opening a two inch gap exposing my hand. Will hope for a cheerful replacement for little active use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MadMax6 Great as decoy gloves
These gloves have worked fine for me so far this season. I don't dunk my hands under water when using them so I can't comment on if they are perfectly waterproof or not...I use them to pick up my duck decoys after hunting. They keep my hands warm and dry for this activity and that's why I got them. Good deal in my opinion. Yes, they will smell kinda odd after they've been used a fair amount, but that's just the way neoprene is sometimes. For my application of keeping my hands dry while placing/picking up decoys, they have earned a 5 star rating from me. I don't wear them for long periods as they aren't breathable, I keep regular gloves on hand for in the blind...no pun intended. Sizing is pretty standard, maybe even a hair small but they do stretch to fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TheDadDan These Gloves Stink - PU
They are good gloves, but they smell bad. And, they make your hands smell bad. They are waterproof and fairly warm, but its hard to get past the stink. I can't use these for everyday wear. They will be only for cold weather fishing and such. The rubber-like palms are not so good either. I've worn them just a few times for "work" - moving furniture and things, and the rubber is already showing signs of wear. So treat them gently, if you want them to last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by soxfan22 Terrible Gloves, but trying again
I bought these gloves for ice fishing. The very first time I wore them they ripped. All I was doing was putting them on my hand and where the palm material meets the neoprene is where it ripped. Since I live in Maine I am taking them back to the store today to get a new pair. Hopefully the second pair won't do the same thing as the first. Like I said, all I was doing was putting the glove on and it ripped, and I wasn't even pulling that hard. So, needless to say, I don't have a lot of faith that the next pair will be any different.

Rated 4 out of 5 by H2Oh Very comfortable
Pretty good gloves all around. I intentionally ordered slightly larger as there is a seam that runs over the knuckles. I've used the gloves a few times and they are very comfortable. Water resistant for sure. Good quality neoprene.
The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is that when they heat up the rubber on the palms sticks and becomes more prone to ripping.
Wetting the gloves every so often seemed to alleviate most of this issue even on a sunny 80 degree day.
