These pants are really comfortable and look really nice, but they are not a slim fit as you might expect coming from the Signature line. If you are looking for a fit similar to what you might find at trendy higher end clothing stores, you will be disappointed. However, I don't agree with the reviews that say the pants are too baggy; they merely have a more "traditional" fit.

Everything about these was great especially finding them on sale. Only issue is the length is not spot on. My 34 length i ordered is actually 33. But, I wear a 33.5 so not a big issue. They are the build quality of ll bean that I have come to expect.

This was my second pair of these pants, this time in a different color. These are very comfortable and seem to hold up really well. I do have two complaints though: First, the belt loops are pretty oddly spaced out (that's a pretty minor issue). Second, and more importantly, there is next to no extra material to let out from the seat/waist.

Well constructed and looks good. Only two concerns would be they show wrinkles easily when packing in a suitcase and I wish the legs were just a little tapered. Otherwise an excellent pant.

I bought a pair of these some time back and just bought another when they came back on sale. These pants are very well made and have plenty of room in them without being baggy. I have the light brown and sage. They are both excellent for work and for a night on the town.

These pants are great quality material, but they run short. 32 length is usually perfect for me, and I wish I had gotten 34. Also, the cut is quite wide (straight leg, not skinny), which is not a big deal, only brought it to a tailor for tapering. I think these pants are a good bargain overall.

These are cut very differently from the canvas cloth pant. They are pretty baggy if you are slim or athletically built, and the fabric, though very durable, looks a little cheap. (Even though the canvas cloth pant is made from a "less dressy" fabric, they actually look much more chic than the new traditional twill pant while also being outdoorsy.) I'm also not a huge fan of the wide belt loops (it's hard to clip things to them and they look a bit unrefined).

I bought these because I wanted a standard-looking, versatile pair of pants (to wear with a golf shirt, or to the office with shirt & tie). At first, I ordered 33 waist, 32 length -- I have a 32 waist but large legs, so I often have to go up to 33 or 34 waist. The room in the seat and thigh was perfect, but the inseam was several inches too long. (Another pair of LL Bean Signature suit pants fit well at 33, 32). I exchanged these for a 33, 29 and the 29 was just right for the inseam. These are nice if you have larger legs for your waist size. The weight of the fabric is on the heavier end so these are more appropriate for cool weather than summer.

I really like these pants. They have a good color and after a month of wear theyre getting a nice worn in look. The pocket flap detail is a plus and allowed me to carry my wallet in my back pocket all summer in Africa without worrying about it walking off! Mine were not as fitted as those pictured on the site, but getting them on sale allows me a trip to the tailor. Fashion and function. I'm keeping them.

Unlike normal LL Bean clothing, which, usually runs large, these are true to size. i'm 5'8" and about 170 pounds. I normally wear a waist size 32 pant. That is what I ordered in these. They fit, but are a tad tight. I should have ordered the 33's. However, I like the pants a good deal.
