I have to say that I am extremely pleased with it. Yes, the fleece sleeves get caught up with a cotton long sleeved shirt. But it is not an issue when such a lightweight coat offers such fantastic comfort, warmth (-2 celsius in my part of Canada right now...) and best of all, is long enough to warm other areas :D

I read all the reviews before purchasing this coat and although there were complaints about the fleece lined sleeves, the zipper and the crinkly sound of the material - I decided to get it and check it out for myself. The fleece lining is cozy and warm - I usually wear long sleeve tees so it's not a problem. The zipper is a bit persnickety but once you get the hang of it......it's a breeze and I like the material - overall - I can't wait for a cold, rainy day to wear it! Love the hood too.

Rated 4 out of 5áby newtonmom Nice jacket for a rainy cold day
This jacket is perfect for a cold rainy day. The fleece lining is warm and soft. The fleeced lined sleeves can be annoying but once the jacket is on, it feels very warm and cozy.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Harborview Excellent Raincoat!!!
I love this rain jacket so much that I also purchased one for my mom and one for my sister! The design is exceptional. The fleece keeps you warm on cold rainy days and the hood is perfect. This jacket easily earned its five stars here in NMI!

Rated 2 out of 5áby Avalie Worst Zipper Ever
Every time I zip this coat up, it gets caught in the zipper. It won't zip up or down. I have been held captive in this coat several times. Too bad LL Bean has chosen to put these frustrating zippers in their coats. I like the products but won't buy again because the last several coats I have purchased has this type of zipper.

I am so disappointed in this coat. Tight in the shoulders and loose around the body. Sleeves are impossible when you have a long sleeve shirt on. Rolls the shirt sleeves halfway up your arms because the lining is so bulky. Wish I hadn't worn this coat because I would return it.

Rated 5 out of 5áby BeanShopperChicagoMom I Think I Am Going to Love This Jacket
I got this coat for rainy and 40 degree tball games and for dog walking. I never expected it to be flattering or stylish. It's not bad on that front. It has some shape, so I am pleasantly surprised with the fit. I don't think the fleece sleeves will be bothersome either. I am really happy the sleeves are lined with fleece. Indeed, I bought this to replace a rain jacket that had unlined sleeves. I just wore it in a downpour and stayed super dry and warm in 45 degrees.
One caveat - this jacket will not keep you warm in below freezing temps. Wear it when it's rainy, raw and damp in the 30s through 50s.

Rated 2 out of 5áby bschenen Great idea, but problems
This could be a GREAT raincoat... styling and cut are really nice. Fit too. But the impossible, constantly bunching lining ruins everything. Just not wearable. Which is a real shame as Bean's long H2Off coat with liner does not have any warmth in the sleeves so I was hoping this would work out. Bean, I hope you can redo this with that modification.. a lining that offers some warmth, especially in the sleeves, and doesn't cling to your clothing. And as long as you are taking care of the lining, how about making the raincoat itself out of a material that isn't so noisy and doesn't constantly crinkle? Something sleek like the original H2Off? But the idea... the concept.. GREAT!

Rated 5 out of 5áby OneLuckyOne staying dry during rainy day dog walks!
I got this jacket for walking my dog in the park in the rain. I gave it a test the first rainy day that we had - and it was POURING rain! My dog got soaked (he didn't mind) and I stayed dry. The jacket worked exactly as advertised. I stayed dry even after walking for 45 min in the pouring rain. My only problem was that my legs were soaked where the coat ended, and I'll be buying the matching rain pants next. I was glad to have a towel handy to dry off before getting in the car.
I bought this jacket for function, and don't plan to use it for daily use. It is not stylish - straight seams, straight sleeves. if you're looking for a stylish everyday raincoat that is also waterproof, this might not be a good choice. But if you want to stay dry during outdoor activities, this jacket is perfect. The velcro closures on top of the zipper are great. The velcro adjustments on the sleeves allowed me to put gloves on and then put the jacket over them.
As others have noted, it's a bit difficult to get on with the fleece-lined sleeves, but no worse than putting on a fleece jacket over a flannel shirt. Again - this jacket is built for function, not necessarily a jacket to wear to work everyday. When I"m suiting up to take the dog for a walk in the rain, I don't mind the extra few minutes that it takes to get this jacket on and my sleeves not bunched up underneath. But I think that I would find it annoying if I had to do this multiple times per day.
I'm not certain about the cold rating (-20░). On the days that I worn this jacket, the temps were in the 30's and 40's). It was fine, though I got the sense that I would be cold if the temperature was much lower.
I love this jacket so much that I just bought an unlined version for the summer. I'll also be ordering the pants so that my legs don't get wet.
Now I'm wishing for a Tek2.5 rain jacket for my dog - how 'bout it LLBean?

I love this coat. True, the zipper is a little hard to work and the fleece-lined sleeves are a little hard to get on; but once I'm in it, I'm very snug and dry. The fit is nice, possibly a bit large except in the bust The small regular worked well even though I alternate between a small and medium petite depending on the stretch of the fabric. I have worn it frequently during the past week to work, for dog walks, for some yard work . . I just love it!
