I own several of these pullovers and absolutely love 'em. Much better than sweatshirts in damp weather, dry much faster, are just as warm, plus they're lightweight and stretchy. It doesn't get much better than this. Now if LLBean would just bring back the natural/cream color that goes with everything. One in my collection is natural. I've had it for over 15 years, worn and washed it a LOT, and it's still hanging in there although it's just now starting to look a little worn and I'd like to get a new one. Great product.

Rated 2 out of 5áby esmerelda1 plus size trail model fleece pullover
I love your trail model fleece pullover in regular sizes. But when I bought the plus size, it had an elastic around the bottom, unlike the reg. sizes. The person I bought it for doesn't want it and it will be returned due to the elastic hem. Larger bodied people do NOT want closely fitted clothes. The regular straight, loose hem would have been perfect.
The above goes for all of your tops and shirts in plus sizes: LOOSE is much better than fitted. More forgiving.
Also, could you please make more women's tops in hunter green color? All the many people with green eyes would appreciate that!

Great piece to carry in my carry-on luggage for quick climate adjustments. This is my fleece pullover for travel...I love it! Great value!

Rated 1 out of 5áby usedto63deginhouse Ugly green tape on teal shadow
I agree with other reviewers that the new style changes are unwelcome - the hem ribbon on the sleeves and the waist as well as the loss of the kanga pocket. I have at least 5 of these fleece pullovers from various years in the past. They have always been a favorite of mine. I do like the change that the sleeves are longer and the waist is also longer as it was a bit too short in the past even though I got a Large size to go over another layer. But now even tho it is longer it rides up at the waist. The sleeves can't be pushed up when needed because they are too tight at the hem. The zippers are too big. The now separated pockets are too small for long items or for bilateral hand warming. To top it all off the teal shadow has an unsightly ugly green tape around the neckline that is not obvious in the picture because the collar is not open. I like the teal color and I might keep it and try to dye the tape with a permanent marking pen. I am canceling my back order for a second one in french blue because of the style changes. Please go back to the old style.

Rated 5 out of 5áby AnnetteMc Beautiful Color with a Flattering Fit!
This is a perfect mid-weight pullover! I purchased an XS Petite (I am 5'4", 115lbs, a size 4 on top, and a size 4 on bottom) and the fit is great - not tight but flattering with the hem hitting at the hip for a modern look. The Deep Capri color is so pretty and feminine. This is a great 3 season pullover!

Rated 4 out of 5áby WinthropBeanShopper Warm, cozy, fleece
I bought this fleece in the kelly green shade and it was just as vibrant as it appeared in the website picture. It is relatively thick, good as a heavier layering piece rather than as an outer layer. The pockets are lined and have a zipper close which is fine except I think it would look better if they had snaps like the collar. Aside from that, the pullover keeps you comfortably warm without excessive bulk.

Rated 3 out of 5áby northbass Runs small
I recieved this item the other day and find that it runs very small, I have two other Bean fleeces in the same size and they fit fine with a layer under, but no way could I wear a layer under the trail model fleece. However, the style is cute and I like the color so I'm going to keep it, but glad I didn't pay full price for it.

Rated 3 out of 5áby NeedsPockets Whose bright idea was it.....
Clearly someone thought that an elastic hem was a good idea, but there are a lot of us writing reviews who disagree. The jacket does not fall nicely back into place when I raise my arms (yes, I actually MOVE around in this jacket!): I have to pull it back down, which means I am constantly tugging at it. It also makes the rest of the jacket bunch up above it, for a hardly-flattering apple-like silhouette.
Luckily, I sew, and I'm going to cut off the elastic and replace it with a flat false hem. I wish I didnt have to.

Rated 5 out of 5áby obscure Tall Sizes for Women
I have been buying this fleece jacket and pullover for myself and family members for years. It is a great fleece at a great price.
However, although men's sizes come in tall, tall sizes are not available for women. When will you begin making these in tall sizes for women?!?
I would be purchasing so many more items if tall sizes were available for women.

Rated 1 out of 5áby CJHB Very Disappointing! Bring back your quality!
I have been ordering LLBean fleece pullovers for years as they are suitable for office attire and don't look like a "jacket." This year I noticed the neck zipper has changed to snaps, but it still said Polartec-200, so I ordered two. Comparing these new pullovers with my previous Polartec-200 pullovers, the thickness is more like a Polartec-100 - very light and much thinner quality. They feel flimsy. Even with all the washings my old fleeces have endured, they are still double the thickness and more substantial. I wore one today and they don't block the wind like the older 200's. These new pullovers are mis-advertised in the catalog and definitely not the quality of the Polartec-200 material LLBean has had in the past. You are losing me as a life-long customer, LLBean! Get your quality back!
