It is very itchy and I have to wear a turtleneck underneath or my neck will be all red. It is very thin and not very warm. It also hasn't held up well. It hasn't held its shape and it pills a lot. I am very disappointed and wish I hadn't spent the money on such a poor quality sweater. I love LL Bean and everything else I have bought has held up exceptionally well. Not this sweater. Buyer beware. February 24, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by ImAKoala Just OK I purchased this sweater online. If I had seen it in a store beforehand, I might not have purchased it. When I took it out of the bag, the first thing I noticed was that it was already pilling! The pilling got worse after I washed it (hand wash, as the directions specified.) The first time I wore the sweater, I noticed it doesn't really keep its shape well. It is all stretched out and creased at the elbows and waist. This top doesn't live up to the standards I am used to from LL Bean and I am disappointed. I will not be ordering this again. September 22, 2012

It leaves little puff balls on anything else you are wearing that has a nap. If I could find something else similar, warm etc I would return it. February 18, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by ORbooklover Pretty, comfortable sweater This is a very comfortable sweater; light but warm, nice-fitting, not too tight or loose. I'm not quite used to the funnel neck, which I want to either roll or pull up; I think you're supposed to just let it drape. The color (Island Blue) is very pretty. I haven't washed it yet; it says handwash, I'm thinking I might try the gentle cycle on the washing machine, but not sure because the boucle might catch. January 22, 2012

The style and color (I bought the burgundy)looked lovely on the internet and the style seemed perfect for my friend. I purchased the Med., which is usually more than ample from L.L. Bean. In my opinion the sweater is not made up to Bean's usual standards and is definitely skimpy on my friend. She likes it, so she's keeping it. If she's happy, so am I, but you asked for my review....... December 28, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5�by Lauriethenurse Heavenly Sweater These sweaters are a bit thinner than when you offered them a few years back, but heavenly just the same. Very soft and warm, don't need to layer. Love them!!! Keep in catalog, get more colors. I have 5 of them now. Bring back the moleskin jeans too, please!!!! December 28, 2011
