Rated 4 out of 5 by SpeedyDelivery Great for travel and just bought a second pair
I bought these for a trip and found them to be wonderfully versatile and comfortable. I just ordered a second pair, even though they're only available in the same color, because they're in limited supply and I'm afraid Bean will stop making them. I would have given them 5 stars, except for one niggling thing: the shock cords that cinch the leg bottoms get underfoot, literally, and there're no little snapped loops to hold them in place. Knots tied carefully work, but are a bit inconvenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by marylandmama So comfortable!
I love these pants and they will be perfect for cool weather hiking in the Pacific Northwest this summer. The adjustable length will come in handy, and they have good pockets. They look nice around town, too - not overly rugged. Fit true to size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chicagonative1 Weird Fit....
I wanted these for when I go camping. I am a pear shaped 5'9" woman with a smaller waist and fuller hips. I tried these on and they have a wide waist "band" which fit really oddly between the junction of waist to hip. I would describe it as binding and not very comfortable. The legs were very wide which other reviews picked up on but that was not my main concern being that I would be out in the woods and not at the mall.
They were cool but sadly didn't fit well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by IWantComfort Legs are way too baggy!
First the good news: the fabric is nice, and the fit and style is great at the waist and hips, but then the legs balloon to 28 inches! When I looked in the mirror, all I could think of was "clown pants". Very unattractive.
LLBean, please decrease the width of the legs on these otherwise great pants. Not all of us are pears, and not all pears need this much room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SummerJoy Keep on Trekking LL Bean!!!!!
Wow! I love these pants. Absolutely no complaints.
I am not a pear shaped women. However, I do have curves and a noticeable buttocks.
Wow!! to my surprise the fit is PERFECT!
They are so comfortable.
They are better looking and sportier than the Comfort Trail Pants (spandex) I have tried. Cheaper in price too! I feel so relaxed when wearing them.
The Trekking pants also dry quicker (when outside) in my opinion. They are perfect for walking, hiking, camping and other outdoor activities.
I plan to wear them this May (during the Walk For Hunger event in Boston) for the purpose of finding out how comfortable I will be after Trekking in them for twenty miles.
I purchased three pairs in different colors (blue, olive green and silver birch) My favorite is the navy blue color.
I went away recently for 10 days and packed very light (three pairs of trekking pants with 7 tops rolled in bundles). I packed everything needed comfortably in a small duffel bag.
I received numerous compliments and was asked where I purchased my pants.
Wow!!! that made me feel good! I guess I'll keep Trekking to LL Bean!
Just a warning..... if you purchase the silver birch color, make sure your underwear is dark in color unless of course you want to be noticed as to what you are wearing underneath!
Thanks LL Bean. I have yet to be disappointed.

I fly alot and am always on the lookout for the perfect travel pants and these are it!!! They are lightweight and loose so their perfect for traveling. They are true to size! And because of their material, you can wash them at the hotel with travel Woolite and hang them to dry.

I could live with these pants but they're a bit long for me so I cinched them at the ankle but then they ballooned out.
I'm trying another model after calling customer service. They checked and said my second choice does have a slimmer leg.
I wanted pants made of Supplex because I wore my husband's pants on a drenching hike and was amazed at how all but the cuffs stayed dry.
