I do love that the t-shirt is very soft and comfortable BUT it will and does stain easily. I don't know what kind of 'testing' they used to make the claim but it is untrue. I even treated stains with 2 types of stain remover and neither worked. To LL Bean's credit they do stand behind their return policy. I was able to exchange the t-shirt.
I am only giving 3 stars because it was not stain resistant as advertised

Rated 4 out of 5 by basilandoregano XS sizing is way too big
Was so happy with the fabric, color and the length. Finally a shirt that doesn't reveal my stomach when I reach my arm above my head.
Unfortunately, the XS was designed for someone with a 44 inch chest instead of a 34 inch chest. All this shirt does is emphasize the fact that I wear a AA.
I would recommend the XS only if you are thin AND busty.

These are the most comfortable T shirts that I've found in years.
I'm 5'8", 160#. The Large fits perfectly, but I like my shirts a little on the loose side. They are the perfect weight, for warm California weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1JAT Sizing has changed
I have bought these t-shirts for years and never had a problem but now they have changed where they are made (Vietnam, was China) and they are wider and longer. I keep hoping they will change but so far they haven't. Glad for the free shipping because I have to keep sending them back.

Am I crazy, or am I the only one? This shirt wrinkled so badly just from sitting at my computer. I have never had a shirt that wrinkled so badly. The men's carefree shirts don't do this, but the women's aren't "cut from the same cloth," as they say.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LLBeanGalForever SOLD OUT of ALL colors by June 1
Really L L Bean??? I order these shirts and the pima v-necks every year and was shocked to see that in my size (XL) these shirts are sold out in every single color! What a huge disappointment. I order 1X in the pima shirts and they are almost sold out in all colors.
As for the review, these are great shirts, but I just cannot believe that on June 1 I cannot buy some summer t-shirts. I mean how far in advance of seasons does one need to buy??
Otherwise been ordering from L L Bean for over 30 years and almost 100% satisfied. There is this issue and women's sizes becoming less and less available (in styles that were previously available).

Rated 5 out of 5 by cbbamb Comfortable, easy to clean, and versatile
I am getting close to having this shirt in every color. I mix and match with the LLBean skirts or chino pants. I like the feel of the fabric. It is thick enough so I don't have to wear an undershirt. These shirts have helped me simplify my wardrobe and life! More colors would be appreciated in the V-neck!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Imaginer Poor fit for me
I gave this item 3 stars because the fabric, construction, and color are all very nice.
But the fit was completely off for me. I have some loose-fitting "sunwashed tees" from yesteryear in size XL. I wanted something more fitted than those so I tried this in size L (which is my size in tops according to Beans measurement chart.) The body was very loose -- looser than the XL in the other style. The sleeves were tight, though, so it didn't make sense to try it in a medium. I do have large arms but some styles work fine. This one doesn't.
The V neck doesn't look particularly low on the model but it was uncomfortably low on me. Combining the low V neck with the loose, loose body made the shirt gap horribly if I leaned over even just a little.
So it went back!

I am returning this shirt. It's a little bit baggy on me, plus the color of the shirt i(lilac) I received is lighter than it is shown to be on the web site.
