Rated 2 out of 5 by Fredry Great fit & feel; but stitching is poor.
I love the way these feel and fit. I'm a slim guy. I am disappointed in the sewing quality - the stitching quality around the top of the left front pocket unraveled after only a month. Not like LLBean products. Frown.

These pants are very stylish. Excellent fit, sizing is spot-on, and very high quality. Far better than any expensive designer I've owned. Please restock so I can buy additional colors!

I have only worn these pants twice (after having been washed) since getting them. At this early point in time I am very pleased with the one pair I bought. They fit better than than any of my other pants because of the available size I needed (31/29) and are very comfortable. However, the front pockets are so narrow that it's a struggle to get my hand into them. Not a huge issue for me as I don't carry anything in any of my pockets anyway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EagleM08 Great pair of cords
Just got these today, and I do like them quite a lot. They are true to size on the waist, but be warned: they fit somewhat trim through the thighs. Additionally, they run about 3/4" long (I work in clothing and measured them on my tailoring table).
Overall, this is a great pair of cords.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tetonman Bell Bottoms are Back at L.L. Bean
I looked at the illustration in the catalog and on line and thought, "Hot dog, finally a pair of cords cut like jeans". What arrived in the mail was something entirely different. They were cut like the bell bottoms I left behind in the 60's. To make things worse they were made from the same floppy fabric as used the 60's. Unless you are going to a 60's party, I'd forget this item.

Very soft and comfortable, but alas they lasted hardly 3 months of moderate wear. Fabric was worn out at multiple places.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MDArchitect Standard Fit Too Tight
Received as a gift. Rise too short, pockets too small, waist and legs too small. Standard Fit must be for teen-agers.

Rated 1 out of 5 Poor quality first time. Replacement worse.
I purchased two pair of these pants earlier in the year. They soon developed tears where the fly was not reinforced, and I returned them. The return and replacement process was painless, but the product I received in return was worse than before!
The seams were poorly sewn and started coming apart after the first wash. My wife, who is a seamstress said there is no excuse for not adjusting stitching on the sewing machine. The quality control was bad. The fabric, too, is inferior and already is developing holes. But worst of all, one of the seams had been torn out and redone before it was sent to me.
It seemed like the replacement product had been taken from the "seconds" bin.
I really do like the style and fit of these pants and want them to be of adequate quality, so I was willing to give them a second chance. But the guarantee sent me something that was not built to last as the pictures show. Where is quality control?

Rated 2 out of 5 by slewfoot looks good - poor performer
Bought a pair in the Chicago store. Loved the yellow color (looks like they no longer stock that. Quickly became my favorite pants - then I noticed the fabric had worn out around the back pockets. This is only after 2 months of wear. Not good. The pockets themselves are heavily stitched - but the fabric is thin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by timeout1 Well, at least one pair fit.
I purchased a pair of these cords (35-32) about 4 months ago. Overall they were/are great. Size, quality of materials and fit were all fine. I purchased a second pair a month ago and unfortunately they must be at least two sizes smaller than labeled. I sent them back and absorbed the return shipping. Given the other comments on this thread, I don't plan on trying again.
