Rated 5 out of 5�by TomNJ Thin but comfortable This is very thin fleece. Think of it as an alternative to a flannel shirt, or a light sweater or sweatshirt. Very soft. Sizing: the large is pretty big. I am 5-11, 42 jacket, 34 sleeve, slim, and the large is more than big enough -- in fact the sleeves are long even on me. I like roomy sweatshirts, but if I wanted to wear this as a shirt, with a closer fit, a medium would be better. May 3, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by MassachusettsBirder Warm without bulkiness I wear this right on my skin like an undershirt and it keeps me warm without binding or feeling tight. I wear a nice shirt over it for the office and a cotton polo (long or short sleeve) for ordinary wear. If you are the kind of person that struggles to be warm in modern buildings or huge churches, this is what you are looking for. Wash it in warm water and let it air dry - a dryer will evenually make the fleece "rubbery" and less warm. January 30, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by wee13 super super soft i purchased this shirt as a gift for my 51 year old mentally challenged uncle. it is hard to get a huge review from him but he just kept touching it. it is super soft and a good medium weight. i got this for him to sit out by the fire with us in the evenings. i think it is going to be perfect January 7, 2013

He wore it 4 days in a row and loves the feel and lightweight coverage it gives. He couldn't stop talking about it. I also ordered a women's pull over for myself and it is amazing. Light, soft and oh so comfortable. I would buy another in a heartbeat and think I will. Thank you so much. January 2, 2013

Well designed and manufactured. Material is superbly soft. The unique chest zip pocket is terrific for IPods & small item storage. Bean was terrific in making a surprise delivery in time for Christmas, even though we did not ask for premium shipping. LL Bean never fails to deliver the highest quality, on a timely basis.
