I asked for this skirt for Christmas and have worn it many times since then. I am a size 8 (5'4", 130 lbs) so got the petite 8 in fuschia. It has so many different colours in it that I have worn it with blue, pink and brown tops, which all look great. The fit around the waist is very comfortable with no binding. The lining means it is a breeze to wear with tights and doesn't need a slip. I am a bit on the cheap side and would not normally spend this much on a skirt, but now that I have worn it, I can say it is definitely worth the money.

It took me 2 exchanges to finally get the right size! Apparently, it is taking others a few tries as well as the available sizes change often. It is a very cute skirt. I have not found the material to be rough or itchy and the colors seem true to the picture (I chose the Sable). My only complaint would be the sizing. My husband bought me this skirt as a gift and he ordered large according to the size chart - the skirt was huge when it arrived! I ordered a couple of sizes smaller based on the size chart and it was still too large, I could fit my arm down one side of the skirt. I ordered the next size down and it fits. This is the size I would have thought to order, but according to the chart I thought it would be too tight (the hip measurement is 1/2 inch smaller than what I measure). It fits almost perfect. I am curvy, and it does gap a little in the back, but overall fits well. It is absolutely darling and I'm so glad I finally found a size that fits!

I had my eye on this skirt for a while, but the eggplant plaid was no longer available in my size. It pays to keep checking: when I saw it in my size a few days ago, I snatched it immediately!
Although I'm more curvy than straight, the fit works. The waistband is a bit loose, but that only means it won't pinch, and it'll be covered by a sweater anyway. And the length is great! I'm 5'10", and skirts in this style are usually too short for me, but this skirt hits just above my knees, which is more in my comfort zone.
Finally, the workmanship is very nice. The plaid is centered, and all seams match up perfectly.
(A few hours later, the coordinating "rustic cable turtleneck" in green also became available -- thanks to whoever returned these items so I can now enjoy them!!)

I am 5'1" and ordered the 4 petite in the eggplant plaid. I ordered this skirt and paid for rush shipping to have it here in time for our family pictures this week. The colors are beautiful! I am so disappointed that this skirt is just a bit big and long for me. It falls just below my knees and looks frumpy on my frame, so I will be returning it.

Bought this skirt in brown plaid in size 10P.Normally I wear size 8/10 but it was not available so I took a chance with the 10P.It fit perfectly,hitting just above the knee.The regular fit would have been too long and matronly looking.If it had been shorter I would have sent it back as you have to dress to your age.Mini skirts on a 50 year old are not attractive even if you have the figure for them,(which I do).It is the perfect skirt for fall/winter and will go with many different colored tops/sweaters.Also,it looks great with flats,boots or shooties.

Nice quality wool; very nicely made. The navy is VERY much darker than the "blue" of the photo online - looks almost black and gray. Arrived quickly. Will keep, but slightly dissapointed at the darker color.

I purchased this skirt and love it. It is true to size, well made, comfortable and looks smashing with boots. Now I have waited to long to purchase another as they are not available in the two other colors of interest in my size. I will keep checking back in the hopes you will re-stock this season.

Am ordering my 3rd one. I'm not a skirt girl because it's hard to find ones that fit my short frame 5'2"#. But am sold on these that will be a wardrobe staple for years to come.
These are lovely, including the pinkish one on sale.
I've ordered and worn both sizes 4 and 6 #petite# and you can tuck in a sweater or blouse. Beautifully tailored, slim looking, FULL lining. And coordinate with many many sweaters and tops.

I ordered 2 of these skirts brown and eggplant. Absolutely love them. They are not itchy at all and true to size. I am 5'7 and 170 lbs and the size 10 which I usually wear fits perfectly.

This is my second Andover Skirt purchase. I bought one last year, and I like it so much, I came back for another. I wear a size 6 regular, and that size was sold out of the gray plaid, so I thought that I would try a petite. I am 5'5" and about 135 lbs--I am not a petite but I noted that the length was not too much shorter than the regular. It fits perfectly and it is just as cute as the skirt I bought last year. The only advice I would give LLBean is to offer more plaids that have black in them so that they are more easily coordinated with that color.
