I loved these shorts however I am looking for something that I could wear to swim in but are at least 12" long. My upper legs are in horrible shape and I want to enjoy myself in the water without being self conscious. PLEASE make these in longer lengths I know I am not the only one out there who is looking for this type of thing.

dont think smaller size would help that.

I've been wearing these shorts over bathing suit bottoms all summer now. I cannot say enough about how much I love them. The fact that they stretch with you is the biggest plus. I'm 5'5", 145 and I ordered a size 11. They are a little on the loose side, which is what I wanted. I didn't want them skin tight, but if they were, they would still be comfortable. No chaffing this year at the ocean. Major bonus. :) They are a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it, in my opinion.

Okay, I'm not the warer but the looker (husband). She looks great in these boardshorts. No complaint of be uncomfortable. Said, "I love these". She's 47 y/o and (forgive me honey) about 145 lbs 5' 8". Shorts like these are rather a personal purchase but I got lucky and ordered from L.L. Bean. It was my first time ordering clothing for her and it turned out great!

I realized since I'll be going to a water park with my niece soon that I needed something that would protect my nice new bathing suit...these are absolutely cute and flattering. Had I known how stretchy they actually were, I might've gone down a size...I typically wear a 6P so I ordered the 7. I love them, regardless! They arrived today and after trying them on I have to admit I just wore them to run a few errands!

These are the most comfortable board shorts I've ever bought. I searched so long in stores, and was about to give up when I saw these online. The bit of spandex in them allows free movement and you never feel uncomfy. I only wish they offered these in other colors!! Seeing that I have always bought O'Neill waterski's and loved them, I am not surprised at these great shorts! Kudos!

Love the shorts. Love the fit. But wish they were lined. That would eliminate a layer and I would dry off faster.
