Rated 4 out of 5 by ShowMeTheBean Great product But
The Aero Blade load bars are a nice looking product on the vehicle. Unfortunately, Thule designs most of their attachments for the square load bars so the T track on the Aero Blade serves no purpose. Fitting the 594 XT Sidearm requires several bolts, spacers, and round knobs. Thule should take a look at the design of the old Saris roof racks and actually make the T track a quick and easy mounting option for their attachments. There is no apparent benefit to this bar over the others, unless you want the more refined appearance.

I love the new Aero Blades...they feel solid. I read a complaint about the end caps not fitting. Mine are in snug and not going anywhere so I'm not sure what that complaint was about. It is a little bit of a pain to make sure the beams are backwards compatible with any previously manufactured Thule products, but the adapter kits are heavy duty. Yay Thule!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tuni43 Awesome help and free installation too!!
I had been researching roof racks for recently purchased Prius and was facing confusing online recommendations. I have been a llbean customer for years but never considered going to them for this product.
From the moment I walked in the store near Rochester NY I was attended to with the utmost courtesy and intelligence; from Gary's conscientious research in finding the correct components, to Jeff's knowledgable install. Thank you for another quality purchase!

These racks look very nice and fit perfectly. The problem is that they are designed to be aerodynamic and cut down on the whistling. The bars them selves do this, the problem is that the mounting brackets are anything but aerodynamic so while you cut down on the lower pitched whistling of the bar, you are left with a higher pitched whistling from the mounting bracket. I still like them for their look, but if you are going to shell out the extra money to cut down on the whistling don't waste your time.
Though, if you have factory mounted cross bars to mount the load bars to, this may not be a problem.
