Using modern tailoring, we've brought a style revival to cotton seersucker. A form-fitting silhouette, with delicate shirring at the neck. Tapered seams with flounce hem at back. Hidden fabric-covered snaps at front. Unlined. Imported.

Rated 4 out of 5�by 2trusting Seersucker jacket I don't think the models do justice to this jacket. Yes, you can dress it down as shown but it will look better with the black side zip casual pants and would be nice for the office. I was hesitant to order my usual sz 10 so I called to discuss this, then ordered the ten. My concern was the shrinkage that occurs with cotton that is not preshrunk. It fit perfectly so I put it thru a cold wash cycle, hung it to dry, and still got just enough shrinkage to make it too tight thru the shoulders and lost an inch of sleeve length. Fortunately the 12 is still available so I'm exchanging it. I really like the style, very different from most, and the soft rose color is very nice. I like the covered snaps because they add to the dressyness of the jacket. I have other things with covered snaps and they hold up much better than I expected. Just wish they'd preshrink the women's cotton as they do the men's. I buy Bean tall man shirts for my husband and the sleeves never shrink. October 21, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5�by Lorngette Very Good Summer Jacket I love seersucker but often the styles it comes in are "old lady". I wasn't sure of sizing with this LLBean line so I tried it in what I usually wear and it was a good fit. I wear it over a sheer linen tee and I like how much coverage it gives even unfastened. I avoid the sun but want to stay cool. I don't have to iron it, easy care. It looks great on. Pockets would've made it perfect. Very well made. July 7, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5�by Shortishshopper Great SUMMER jacket This lightweight jacket is great as a summer topper to dress up an outfit - whether it's jeans & a t-shirt or a more dressed up work outfit. I ordered the petite 6 (I wear 6 in other signature items) and the sleeves were just the right length. I like the styling - nipped in waist is very flattering, peplum is feminine. The snaps are not my favorite - they seem more prominent than in the picture and tend to unsnap with movement; however, they probably look better than buttons - more refined. The "taped" seams description is a bit of an exaggeration - the center seam is more of a flat feld seam and the rest are just regular. The price is probably a bit high, yet, I've not seen a similar, stylish, flattering, summer jacket for less. Overall, I'm pleased with this jacket and am contemplating the other color. July 5, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5�by ilovebooks Just OK I was disappointed with this one. It's thin and unlined, with heft that's more like a shirt than a jacket. I also didn't care for the snaps which looked a little cheap. The fit, however, is true-to-size and very flattering, and the color (rose) is lovely. As a light, casual jacket, it's nice - but I don't think it's worth the price. June 21, 2012
