These shoes just don't fit. Not a size issue, a design issue. Try something else.

I've used New Balance for years and just love them. I wanted to replace the 609's I've been wearing for the last five years as the support in the shoe itself was not what it used to be. Found these in the catalog and thought the price was fair. I used some LL Bean bucks and a gift card and the price was great. Since I was used to New Balance I knew how to order the size as they do run (no pun intended) small. As usual the shipping and ordering process is flawless and I'm very happy with the shoes, I would recommend them for a great value from a company that stands behind their products.

I purchased these sneakers to replace a very expensive pair of shoes that I used at DisneyWorld. The expensive pair made my heels hurt and gave me a blister. When I got back I immediately ordered these from LL Bean. They were wonderful, right out of the box. The foot bed fit my feet and comforted them. My heel problems cleared up and my blister went away( I know it would have eventually gone away on its own). The new shoes were great right out of the box and have not given any trouble. I will NOT buy an expensive pair again. I will stick with these. They are a good, general all around shoe. They are great for walking and for everyday wear. The fit is fine and as shown. I will buy them again and again.

I use these shoes for my general exercise routine (not running) They are very comfortable and supportive. Be sure to order up a half size as they do run small.

I have never ordered shoes or sneakers online with any luck. I do have a 3 year old pair of New Balance white/blue sneakers so I knew their fit is right for my foot. These are similar to my old pair but at checkout I saw they came in brown! Ordered those and they look great. Had to get some black athletic socks as the white/brown is not ideal. Nice fit and styling. Easy to get on/off. I really enjoy the fit and am considering a second pair in white.

This is a great sneaker but for some reason the shoelaces are 2" shorter than the laces on my other New Balance Cross Training sneakers. They are also custom laces, to go with the look of a hiking shoe, so normal size laces cannot be easily purchased at a local shoe store. The shorter laces make small bows that cannot be double knotted. Annoying that New Balance does not provide a standard 55" lace on their 608 Cross Trainer in brown sneakers.
