L.L.Bean has created a revolutionary new technology that improves wader comfort and performance. Our Helix Technology uses one continuous seam that wraps the leg in a spiral, or "helix," pattern. This eliminates the number of seams needed by over 50%, creating a stronger construction and vastly reducing the possibility of leaks. Articulation is built into the fabric instead of being sewn in, further reducing the number of seams that need individual taping. We use a rugged, breathable four-layer fabric.
The premium wading belt has a back support panel for all-day comfort while wading and casting and is held in place with welded belt loops. Two large front pockets contain minipockets that hold handwarmer packs, not included. These pockets are designed so you can wrap your hands around the heat. Neoprene shoulder harness for comfort and increased mobility is made for easy on/off. Built-in gravel guards with improved lace hook. Tough neoprene booties conform to the shape of your foot for a sock-like fit and have a tough, textured bottom panel that resists wear. Imported.
