Rated 2 out of 5 by CalCamper Disapointed in this Tent
I was happy with this tent at first but after a few years and only a handful of uses, the shock cord on one of the roof poles gave out and the pole fell apart. Without a functioning tent pole, sadly the tent is now useless. This was an expensive purchase and I expected better from LL Bean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NHTraveler Functional but hard to set up
We bought this tent to replace one we have had for many years. Our previous tent was easy to set up and take down which we do on an almost daily basis on long cross country trips. This one is only for occasional use with children and grandchildren at a single campground. This is fortunate because it is not easy to set up and take down.
The set-up directions need to be in a much more obvious place than the peg bag. It also would be helpful to know in advance that all the seams need to be sealed.
This tent will serve our purposes and we will continue to use our easy to set up 2 person tent for our long trips.

Love this tent! It arrived one day before our annual camping trip. I did not have a chance to set it up prior to leaving to test it. No worries!
We arrived at dusk and it was really easy for my son and I to set up in the dark without instructions. It is spacious and I can easily stand up in it. All our gear and then some easily fit in the tent with our cots.
Two small beefs with the tent:
1) Instructions are buried in the stake bag (can it be moved to a more convenient location--like the outside of the bag?)
2) Even with a tarp under the tent, I still got a small tear in the thin floor material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TCZig Easy to set up; easy to stand up in
The tent was extremely easy to set up. You can stand up in it and it fit 5 of us plus our bags. Everything fit back in the bag that came with the tent, which was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have a mat for your shoes outside the tent, which our previous tent had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Llbeanaddictnumber1 Spacious very comfortable tent
This was Our first time camping. We loved the experience, and we can't wait to plan another trip. This tent was great lots of room to walk and stand inside. We have a family of 4. He had warm days this tent has great ventilation we kept the few windows half way open it was very comfortable to sleep. One of the nights we had thunderstorm, some water got in from the bottom zipper at the door and from one corner. Small problem comparing for the excellent comfortable tent.

We looked at a number of 6 man tents before selecting this one. We are very happy with our purchase. The tent is very easy to assemble, easy to take down, and even fits back in to its carrying bag. It slept 2 adults and 2 pre-teens spaciously with room for our gear. The height is great because you can stand up inside. The first night we used it it rained and we had no problems with leaks even though we did not treat the tent or fly with any sealers or repellents. We did put a tarp underneath which I recommend for any tent. The tent is perfect for auto camping as it is a bit heavy for backpacking. The price was very competitive with other tents and the quality was even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seacrone Great buy, great tent!
We were very pleased with the Copper Canyon tent. It was a last minute purchase before a two week camping trip. Ordered Sun. night and arrived Tues! Didn't set it up until we arrived at campsite at dusk. Managed nicely with two of us, the difficult part being reading the instructions in fading light and by flashlight. Then two days of torrential rain and then drizzle. We were perfectly dry and enjoyed the spaciousness. I could actually see water under the floor, which was totally dry.
The storage net was a bit too high to be functional in the 6 person tent, but that is as close to a criticism as I can get. Packed up nicely, dry by early am. Really very happy with this tent-can you tell?

Rated 5 out of 5 by lk51 great tent
We have had this tent for at least 5 years and it has been the best one we have ever had. Just got back from 10 days in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and we again stayed dry even in the worst storms. Certainly not a 5 man tent for guys that are all over 6 foot but 4 and gear is workable.

Wonderful tent, totally waterproof and perfect for my claustrophobic 6'3" husband who is not a big fan of camping out. Four adults shared this tent with plenty of room for gear. We put it up quickly on a dark and rainy night with no problem. I chose it because of the excellent reviews it received online, and it didn't disappoint. LLBean shipped it to our house fast and free too.

Item was back-ordered, which I guess should not be a surprise when ordering a tent in September.
We have not yet used it camping, but we set it up to make sure we would not be surprised when we camp in October. Good thing, too, as one of the roof poles had a broken internal bungie cord.
We were able to set up the tent anyhow, but had to be a bit more careful. The tension during setup convinced us that the lack of a bungie is not a big deal.
I was able to get a replacement bungie cord elsewhere (none seen on LL Bean's site) and have since fixed it myself. I know LL Bean's return policy is 2nd to none, but I could not be sure of getting a replacement before we leave on our trip, due to the previous back order situation.
