This is my third little LLBean thermos. I got the first one 25 years ago to use hiking. It worked great but eventually needed to be replaced. The replacement wasn't quite as nice but I still use it. This third one is not nearly as nice because the shape has changed. It is now wider on the bottom and no longer fits in the hiking day sack where a water bottle would go on the outside. It does keep the drink hot for several hours though. And is a good choice for the office or car, but no longer for hiking. I'd shop elsewhere before purchasing another.

Overall good product. Keeps things hot for several hours.
Was disappointed with the top since the black liner became unglued from stainless steel cap after only a couple of uses.

I've used it a few times and it keeps the liquid hot for about 4-5 hours. It seems like great quality, but the downside is that it's heavy.

I bought this thermos because I hunt and I wanted something warm to drink after still hunting all morning. I made my tea about 4 AM and it was still hot at Noon. Even after I leave the woods at about 5 PM my tea was still warm. My only "gripe" is this product is not made in a matte color. Since the stainless steel is so reflective I have to place the thermos in an old sock so sunlight will not reflect off of the bottle while in the woods. How about a muted/cameo product for us hunters?

Very well made, seems sturdy! I have been looking for a well made thermos for quite some time. This one feels like it is made well, and my tea stays hot for a good portion of the day. 17oz is just the right size and easy to carry.
I would definitely order another one and recommend it to friends!

the seal fell off the stopper after only several uses. ll bean cheerfully refunds. too bad; the thermos is handsome looking and certainly kept my tea piping hot. additional thermoses are on back order, and I'll have to decide whether to give it another try when they come in.

This thermos has been a lifesaver. It allows me to bring good, nutritious food to school. The day I purchased the thermos, I wanted to tests its durability. I put boiling hot water into it at 8pm and 11 hours later I opened it and it was too hot to touch. I now put hot soups inside and then only 6 hours later when I am ready to eat, it is hot and delicious.

The new Thermos keeps my drinks hot and tasty all day. I take long rides on my recumbent trike and pack food and drink for the day.

I bought this for my son to take to school. He loves it. It keeps soup hot and smoothies cold & frosty, for hours! And the 17oz seems to be the perfect size. Great deal. The lid works as a cup too.

Just had to buy a new one, my old 40+ years personal thermos decided to come apart in the seam on the cup. Well, it was not LLBeans fault so I ordered the new one.
It is larger and it keeps my daily coffee just as hot. Love it. Recommend to all.
