Rated 4 out of 5áby urbannature Comfortable, look fine
I ordered according to size chart and expected these to be a smaller size 12. To my surprise, the jeans ran somewhat large. I'm between sizes, so when they shrank a bit in first wash, it improved the fit. I'm 5'6" and wear my jeans long, and the medium tall length was fine. These were close to perfect but for slightly loose fit and slightly too light-weight denim. Still, a nice looking, comfortable pair of jeans. I would buy these again in the same size.

The length does not shrink. The fit through the hips and thighs is perfect when you first put them on. As you wear them, they start to bag out. Washing and drying helps, but I am going to have to alter them as I wear them work. A classic fit at the waist would be much better. The pockets are very short in depth.

I love these jeans! A little bit of stretch. Waist is in just the right spot. Petite is perfect length for me. I've tried other styles but keep coming back to this one.

Rated 1 out of 5áby SolarFarm Very Disappointing
I've bought LL Bean jeans for years, and they've always fit perfectly--until now. Petite, low rise, stretch denim, boot cut jeans have always been my favorites, and even though styles have changed slightly over the years, I always knew that I could find those jeans in the size 4 Petite that would fit perfectly. But now this is the only style available in low rise, and the fabric and fit are nowhere near as good as the many pairs of jeans that I've bought over the years. This fabric stretches out, causing the jeans to be so baggy that they fall down. The fit is so loose and baggy that they don't look good and aren't comfortable, and the fabric doesn't have the quality of the stretch denims that I always bought in the past. Low rise is labeled as being the "Favorite" fit, so I don't understand WHY there's only one style available in low rise and many styles available with higher waists. I've worn out two pairs of stretch denim boot cut jeans, and I have two other pairs that I've saved for "dress up" jeans. So now I'm down to these 1912 jeans for work, and they simply don't measure up. The fabric and fit are very poor quality compared to the other LL Bean jeans that I've always loved, and now I'll be forced to look elsewhere to find petite size jeans that have good quality and fit. LL Bean, I really wish you'd once again carry good quality stretch denim boot cut low rise jeans. I always counted on you for jeans that would be well-made and would fit just right, but now that's no longer true. I hope in the future you'll carry a better selection of low rise jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5áby mary21 Great jeans!
What a pleasant surprise to finally find jeans that fit perfectly. Nice, comfortable material. I went ahead and ordered a 2nd pair right away! Maybe an inch too long but otherwise perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5áby GillYT Great fit, nice amount of stretch
My other jeans hang in the closet after I bought these. Please make in black (without the faded patches). Would have 5 stars but my husband thinks they look like a bad dye job because they have pre-faded patches. Please make without the prefading, it doesn't enhance them! Thank you :)

Rated 5 out of 5áby mtnfever fit great per the size chart
I was looking for a new pair of jeans that didn't sit on the waist which appeared the 1912 to be the only option. Since I've lost weight, I measured and ordered per the size chart and the size 8 fits great! Perfect in the waist and hips: no gapping nor binding. The Medium Tall fits me for flats as my inseam is 32" but I would love to have these in a Tall to wear with boots hint hint!

Too much hip room, but outside of that, great for petite sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5áby FergusTheCat No Dumpy Mom Jeans in 1912! Thank you!
I am so happy to find these jeans. I usually can't wear LL Bean pants (just too frumpy/dumpy on my frumpy/dumpy bod) but these, I'll be buying more of these. Great low rise, and perfect petite length for flip--flops and sandals. And the price -- awesome! The only other jeans I've found that are even in this price range still cost $85, and I have a name brand that was over $100 and don't fit as well. These are what I've been looking for in an every day jean.
Though I'm "old" and don't plan to wear these with a short, midriff revealing top (much to the relief of everyone on the West Coast, I'm sure!), I also don't want jeans that add yet another layer of bulk around my waist. With my body style, a lower rise is better at any age and far more comfortable, too.
I got the ultra-faded ones (can't remember the name) and they don't look cheesy/faux fade. I will definitely get another pair of these and will try the darkest ones as well.
Thank you LL Bean! Now if you'd just get rid of the big pockets on your blouses and jackets, I could buy a lot more here.

fit in wasit and hips was good. Pants are too short and I'm only 5'7". Another funny aspect was the zipper is too short. Nice weigth fabric. I returned then becase of length.
