These shoes are wide enough for my feet which are wide. The shoes are extremely comfortable and light weight. I will be buying them again if they wear as well as all other New Balance Shoes.

These shoes give me the support I need no matter whether I'm walking, cycling, or doing an indoor aerobic or strength training workout. I love the classic style, too.

I ordered my best guess for size but the toe box was too tight on one foot. I went to a shoe store and tried some other sizes in this shoe but no luck til I tried a more expensive walking show in the New Balance line and it fit just right in the best guess size that I started with. It turns out that the shoes that fit my feet are made from a different last. I will exchange my shoes for the ones that fit my own unique feet.

I followed LL Bean's advice as always regarding New Balance shoes and ordered up one size. I had always assumed that this advice meant one full size, which in my case would be from 7 AA to 8 AA. Now I wonder if LL Bean means from 7 AA to 7 1/2 AA.
I own two other New Balance styles--purchased from LL Bean--in addition to these new cross-trainers. The cross-trainers seem much roomier that my other New Balance 8 AAs.
As with my other New Balance styles, I stop lacing one lace hole from the top to prevent the sides of the shoes from gouging my ankles. I had hoped that the cross-trainers' sides would be lower than they are. Alas, no.
Still, I have used the cross-trainers several times while exercising to a DVD, and they do well. I have also worn the cross-trainers as day-long house shoes, and they are great for that purpose. I plan to limit their use to indoor activities.
Note: I use orthotics with all of my New Balance shoes.

I recently started shopping for new sneakers to use for walking on my treadmill every day. I was discouraged after trying 5 different name brand sneakers. I called LLBean and explained what I was looking for in a sneaker. I was connected to a product specialist who asked me questions about what I used the sneakers for and anything specific I wanted in a sneaker. I told him I needed a sneaker with a good cushion in it and nothing fancy because I only use them for walking indoors on the treadmill. He helped me narrow down my choices and with his help I finally decided on the New Balance 608. I have been using them for a couple of weeks and am completely satisfied with them. They are comfortable and cushiony. I went up a half size as recommended and the fit is perfect. The customer service from LLBean is fantastic and so is this sneaker!

Prior to ordering these, I ordered a different pair and then returned them. They were uncomfortable just trying them on.Little or no padding so I ordered this pair. They were comfortable from day one. I use them for walking and working out.I guess you get what you pay for.

I really likes these shoes. Not all New Balance shoes fit as well as these. I am a nurse and find these shoes very comfortable for the whole day. I have heel and arch problems and my feet are very happy when I wear this style.

I thought these shoes might be too big, but once I put an arched insole in they fit perfect. I was reluctant to order an 11 when I wear a 10, but they really fit well.

I shopped at LLBean on Saturday, traveled all the way back to Martha's Vineyard on Monday, put on my sneakers for work (that I bought at LLBean on Saturday) on Tuesday morning (first time wearing them) and the sewn eyelet of the sneaker let go..can't even wear them. So disappointed!
