I sent it back though, because this watch came with different hands than what was pictured. The new hands were slimmer, and had a black outline making the time a little hard to read. I ordered the women's model for a gift from the website and received a men's model. Checking with the staff by telephone it was determined that there is only one model, the one I received. It is quite large and really only suited to a man's wrist size. A really nice watch but not available in a women's size. I would recommend it for men. November 30, 2012

This is a great item?nice size and weight, durable and accurate to within a couple of seconds per month. Seriously, I have another watch, which was eight times the price and is not quite as accurate as the Bean watch! The "glow in the dark" feature is not a bright as some others, but it does work. The case is solid stainless with a screw-down crown and mineral crystal (nearly scratch proof). The fabric band is quality with a leather backing. Outstanding value! Nobody does it better than L.L.Bean! March 4, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5�by Chaucer498 Stylish and simple I think this watch has a great look to it. It's all black and looks simple compared to the watches out there these days. I received a compliment on it the first day I wore it. It's light weight and it feels solid and durable. My only complaint with this watch is that there is no light so you can't see the time at night. I believe the dial has glow in the dark numbers, but they do not glow, so it's useless in the dark. Overall it's a great watch. December 8, 2011
