Love the thicker, real fabric. Sleeves are very cute. I thought the sizing was just right. Seahorse design is awesome. I like good images for my daughter that are not overly girly or with words. The design is simple and celebrates nature.

This is a great tee. The material weight is substantial, the graphic is fun and good quality. We had one of these tees last summer and it still looks great after repeated washings. My daughter is almost 9, slim build; I ordered size 8 and it fits great, not too tight like so many other brands of tees.

I love these shirts. Received the graphic tees as gifts last year, and also bought several in solids and stripes. Absolutely love the style, fit, and substantial fabric. The graphics are tasteful and adorable. LL Bean: Please keep offering these, and please consider making a graphic version of the Freeport knit long-sleeve tee as well!

Nicely made knit, thicker than I thought it would be but that's a good thing. We got the purple/turtle. The turtle has a trendy, "vintage" look to it (like its been worn). My daughter loves it.

I am purchashing these tops for my 12 year old daughter. She is not slim; more like average. The weight of these tops is heavier which I liked, but the material just sat on her shape wrong. I tried a 16 first and that clung so I ordered an 18. She still did not care for it. She loves the nature motifs that Bean offers and is sad that these tops did not work out. We bought all three of the other line of graphic tops that Bean offered instead. I would reccomend these tops depending on how the child feels about the material. It is a heavier weight so it clings.

I like these shirts and I am very picky. I received the seahorse in sz 10/12 for my 53", 64 lb 10 year old daughter and it fits her great. They do run slim and narrow, but not too long and not tight at all. My 10/12 was 22" long with a chest measurement of 28." The fabric is a nice weight and they are stitched well. Also note - these tees are made in PERU! I've also ordered the seashell & turtle, but they are on backorder so I can't comment on those yet.

These tees are really cute and the fabric is nice - soft and cool for summer but not too thin. Unfortunately, they are cut VERY narrow. My daughter tried them on right out of the package and I was so disappointed. I measured them against 5 other LLBean shirts (purchased over the last 6 months and the same size) and these graphic tees are 2 inches narrower through the shoulders than all of the others! If this fit works for you, you will like the shirt. This is the only thing I've bought for my daughter from LLBean that I will have to return.

My daughter wears a size 8 in everything (pants, tops, jackets, sweatshirts) we have bought from LL Bean. This shirt is very cute and good quality, but the size around is just cut too narrow. The length was perfect so going to the next size up would not work.

I bought this in the navy with red shell (size M - 10/12) along with the french terry cropped pants in the white/red stripe (size 12). I really was expecting to return this. We rarely have tees that look nice on my daughter who is not skinny in the least. She borders between 10 plus and 10 regular, sometimes 12 (and she's 8 years old!) But no returning here - the tee did not fit small (and boy do we usually have that problem).
I'm not sure what happened with the prior reviewer, but our tee fit as it was supposed to and my daughter has a long torso - it is a very nice length. It is a very fine/small rib knit fabric that keeps the tee fitted, but hardly tiny! It is not a loose or flowy tee, but I was not expecting it to be like that. We are very pleased...enough to order the purple turtle tee and navy purple stripe terry shorts to match.
By the way...it is also sensory friendly. My daughter has Aspergers Syndrome and has serious clothing sensory issues. This is soft and comfy, no itchiness or problems with seams.
