Light weight, place for iPad or laptop, easy clean material, water proof insides, adequate pockets inside and out. Comfortable shoulder strap. What else is there to say? I love it!!

I love this bag for travel. I wish there were more color selection and I would prefer a purple. There could be more pockets inside to keep things more organized but over all it is a fantastic bag. Little on the expensive side.

This bag did not work for me. First and foremost, I bought it because of the computer sleeve. The description said ?computer?, no measurements given, and one review specifically said a 13? laptop would fit in the sleeve. Not so ? the sleeve is only 11? wide and my 13? MacBook would not fit. I also paid for express shipping, which only added to my disappointment. Other cons: I like a large outside pocket to keep boarding passes, etc., easily accessible. The outside pocket has a square Velcro closure which I would not use, and it scraped my hand when I reached into the pocket. The outer pockets on either end of the bag have Velcro-closured flaps which get in the way if using for water bottles (not sure what else you'd use these pockets for). The bag does have some nice features, but for me, it wasn't worth the price, and PLEASE, LLBEAN, include computer sleeve measurements in your description for this product!

I bought this tote back in January and have been using it ever since. I work in a glass factory and I haul it everywhere, so it takes a lot of abuse, and it still looks brand new!!! I'm very hard on bags, and this bag doesn't so any sign of wear. Lots of room and really helps with organization. I can fit everything inside, and I carry a lot of stuff. Lots of pockets for small items, and I use the computer pocket for notebooks and books, and it keeps them protected as well. I would definitely purchase this item again. Highly recommended.

This tote bag/purse has a lot of room for a lot of items, It is important to know that the computer sleeve is for a 13" size computer or smaller. I did not buy this tote for my computer, but I do put my iPad in it when on the go. The various pockets are functional and help keep you organized. Overall, the tote is easy to carry and use. I like a large bag to keep everything in one place. I use a variety of LL Bean totes/purses and I am never disappointed with the quality, functionality, and value!

I am a social worker and I spend hours in my car and going from home to home and other places in the community. I need to carry lots of forms, files, papers, my laptop and many other things that I may need on a daily basis. I like the many pockets on the outside, makes for easy access to pens, business cards, cell phone etc. The cord for keys is especially nice as I don't always have a pocket to put them in. The fabric is very nice, should hold up well. I have been doing this job for over 12 years, have been through at least 4 bags and I think this one will be with me through retirement. It will also be nice for vacation and would be a good carry-on for flying. I got the dark red as I am tired of black and it is actually very neutral - goes with all my coats, even the Vintage red Winter Warmer coat from Bean that I have had for 14 years. But that is another review!

This bag has tons of room and pockets and "hiding places". It is light weight and the straps are the perfect length.
It holds papers, laptop etc. but is still very useful as a daily use bag for work.
Sturdy and comfortable on the shoulders......
PLUS LL BEAN has the best customer service!

I have been searching for a tailored black microfiber tote which would accommodate my iPad in its case and also items needed on the airplane during an international trip. This bag is perfect on all of those dimensions. It would also be good for those who commute using public transportation, and for teachers and students going to and from campus.

I purchased this bag to carry everything I might need that I would normally keep at my desk at work. However since "work" was a different place weekly, I needed a way to keep these items close by but still have the option to have a smaller purse too.
This bag allows me to carry small size items like hand lotion, contact solution, etc., my lunch, water bottle and a smaller purse; all within one tote!
I can pack the lotion, contact solution, etc. in the pockets inside the bag. I pack my lunch in plastic ware and place in the bottom of bag then place my medium sized purse on top. I still have room for a protein shake or water bottle plus snacks inside the bag, or I can place my water bottle in the holder on the outside of the tote.
Love this bag!
