The leather is also so soft it will feel broken in the very first time you carry it. Antiqued-nickel hardware and metal zipper-pulls are strong and attractive accents. Cotton twill lining. Comfortable cotton-web handles won't fray or tear. Imported. Meets airline carry-on requirements.

It is top notch quality, the perfect size for two nights, really attractive, durable, very well made zippers, functional with the exterior pockets, and, honestly, not cheap. I have purchased 7 other bags in the past, some from LL, but this is by far the best design and size - the shoe pocket is unique. This will last forever, and I am extremely pleased to have found it. I thought about buying this duffle for a while before I went ahead and purchased it. It is a bit on the pricy side, but well worth it. The leather feels great and the bag is clearly made with a lot of forethought and quality. I have no doubt that I will have this bag for the rest of my life. I also bought the matching briefcase and couldn?t be happier with it either. January 28, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by EventHorizon Hopefully overtime it will wear in? I have had my eye on this duffle for some time. When I bought it I knew what to expect in part. For instance it is clearly fashioned out of pigskin which is not necessarily a bad thing as pigskin is more durable than some other leathers. However pigskin is still considered a ?lesser? leather and as such is considerably less expensive than other leathers. I wanted durability though and thought pigskin could be a good choice. Upon receiving this bag this is my impression. The zippers are heavy duty but ?catch? easily especially when trying to open the main compartment. I have to hope that with time they will wear in and become smoother because right now as it is, they are simply annoying. The magnets on the flaps do not work well but I assume that as the leather becomes more pliable with time the magnets will do a better job at holding the flaps closed. The magnets really serve no practical purpose that I can tell and seem more intended to keep the flaps closed for ascetic reasons. I personally think heavy duty buttons would have been a better choice. I think this bag is heirloom quality in that it will potentially last (several?) lifetimes with care. I just think the idea of that is really cool. Imagine a family member saying, ?This was your (great?) Grandfather?s leather bag or coat?? In the end I think this bag will do as intended, which is to hold up to whatever is thrown at it or whatever it is thrown at. Hopefully it will see Tibet, Africa, space? you never know. I just think that for the price we could have done a little better with things like the zippers and magnets LLBean? January 25, 2013
