I try different brands of socks all the time to see if there is something new, improved, better, etc. The Cresta Socks were comfortable from the start. Usually wear athletic shoes or hiking-type shoes daily. These shoes work great for me. They are very thick the first time wearing them but I am sure after a few washes that they will get to a normal sock thickness. Wearing them with dress shoes probably will not work well due to their thickness. I like being able to order socks by size (I wear a size 14 shoe). I will definitely be ordering more. Highly recommended. May 8, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by DenverDan Great support, dryness, comfort I ordered these after having been forced to "borrow" a pair from my father-in-law after an unfortunate step in the woods left me with a foot full of mud. I was immediately surprised by the level of comfort and support. While not the ideal for summer coolness, this sock breathes well and is still a fine choice for warmer climates. In winter, it comes into its own and the plushness and quality come through. For warm, dry, non-sweaty feet, this is the only sock you want to buy. They are a little pricier than the competitors, but consider the quality (you can feel the thickness like a cushion when you walk) and the fact that this sock will last for years, not months, and it is worth every penny. The X-Large size of this good looking and thick sock won my sons approval on Christmas morning. He is very active and needs a quality sock for a long day of hiking and bike riding. I purchased four pairs; however, with his amount of praise and enthusiasm, I am going to buy a few more pairs. Also, I like the variety of colors these socks come in. December 26, 2012
