Bought this shirt for my husband to take on our vacation. The color was really nice and the fit was perfect. Wanted to get him the blue one too but it was already sold out!!

I love this shirt so much I bought three. The fit is full and roomy. It's made exceptionally well. The grade of linen isn't too thin or thick. It's a classic. When it's ironed, you get a crisp and clean look or do the wash and wear for a more casual look. Every guy should have at least one in the wardrobe collection.

The coral color is very nice & looks tropical. The sizing runs larger than normal, I got a small when I usually get a medium, in response to other reviewers. It is very noticeable that the sizing is larger. The quality of the fabric is very good in view of the cost of the product. Also have it in white and blue. The blue is also a very nice color.
Linen & cotton are wonderful fabrics for traveling in the heat. As my wife said when we went to India & she said I should take cotton & linen rather than my usual technical fabrics: "A billion Indian people can't be wrong & they wear cotton & linen." She was, as usual, quite right, even as the temperature climbed over 110 degrees.

My husband has had one of these linen shirts for so long I've lost track, but he loves it and it has held up well. THe colors this season didn't leave much to choose from so we got the orange color. A green or tan option would've been nice.
And the sizing is definitely not the same. THe old shirt is a Medium and we had to get a Small this time.

Excellent quality as usual. Runs large. I usually wear and LL Bean large..I think I should have ordered a medium with this shirt.

Beans, you've done it again with the faded coral addition to your Seacoast Linen shirt line. I now have all 3 colors in my collection. They are particularly comfortable and provide that cool feeling when worn in very warm or hot climates. I am a frequent traveller to the Caribbean, Portugal and Spain where wearing linen by men is the norm. Please do keep mens linen, both shirts and pants on your spring/summer inventory. I'll be back!

I got the medium size and out of the package it was clearly huge. When I measured it was 25" inches across chest. That is at least an XL in the normal world. Bean has gotten very inconsistent with sizing. LL Bean Signature started out well. The supposedly "tailored fit" was more like normal sizing, but the last thing from that line I got was much too large as well. I guess vanity sizing is the order of the day now. So with this linen shirt I washed in hot water and put it in the dryer for a long time and it's about inch shorter across the chest. Not really enough. Too bad they only do trim fit with non-iron shirts.

The colors that are shown on the website are nowhere near what the actual color is.I was quite disappointed,especially with the Faded Coral,which looked completely different website vs. real life.The Blue wasn't quite as bad,but not what I thought I'd be getting.Sad to say,these will be returned.

The shirt I ordered was for a large. I wear a large in most shirt types. The shirt that I received was a large but it was like a super large,had to return it and now the medium is back ordered for over a week. Won't know about the product until the medium arrives
