This skirt in the wheat color/pattern is absolutely gorgeous. However, the fit didn't work for me either. As another reviewer mentioned, it's meant to sit high on the waist. However, the waist was much too loose so it sat at my hips resulting in a frumpy below-the-knee length (I'm 5'5" with a 24" waist and ordered the size 0). I tried belting, but without loops, the waistband just bunched up under the belt and didn't stay put. An alteration would also have been complicated because of the ribbon waist and side zipper. I guess I wasn't meant to have this one, but I still recommend it highly because it's beautiful. It would probably be a good idea to call and get the waist circumference before ordering.

It's not the kind of skirt my boyfriend would like to see me in, for sure, but I think it has a very innocent, feminine, old-fashioned appeal. It's meant to sit high on the waist --at your narrowest point-- so if you pull it down to sit where most skirts sit these days it will bag out at the top of your hips. Pull it up! I wish it were shorter. I'm 5'2" and wear size 0. The skirt hits below the knee on me which makes it look frumpy if I don't wear a very feminine pump with it. But with my black opened- toed two inchers it looks very sweet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MarieR Very strange skirt
The fabric is lovely, but this skirt is constructed very strangely. The seams are at the hips, and they stick out like wings. It looks positively bizarre when viewed straight on? Lady Gaga could pull it off, but I can't.

I got this in the Birch print. The fit seemed to be true of Signature sizing (I'm between a 4 and 6 here, I got the 6). I'm 5'4" this sat at my waist and hung to just below my knee.
The print is pretty, the colors are a little more understated than the photo depicts, but I liked it.
Material was decent. It's a little thin and transparent, would need a slip. Construction was good.
I didn't keep this. The biggest reason why was the side zip puffed out so much that it made my left hip look 3x wider than my right. No matter how much I messed with it it just wouldn't lay flatter. While relatively inexpensive, I just can't justify spending what I did on an item I'm "meh" about.
