And my 6 yr old daughter likes the style. It is a sporty style, one that the girls can swim in the pool and the straps won't come down. Pleased with overall look and quality. My granddaughter is almost 10 and pretty hard to please but she found what she wanted and is swimming 1 day each week thru the school gym class April 24, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by aclbmom Leg Holes too Wide I love LL Bean swim suits for my daughters (age 6 & 7) and they have always fit well. But not this suit. The leg holes were just too wide. And it was a problem in both suits - the size 6 and the size 8. We are exchanging it for something else. March 30, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by Stayawhile Love this swimsuit! 3 summers in a row My daughter is 5 yrs old. I have bought a version of this suit for her for the past 3 summers. I love that it is conservative in coverage, but has a fun, modern print in bright colors. The leg openings are appropriate, even when she sits cross-legged. The straps do not slip off, since it is t-back, and they also do not cut into the neck like halter-style. My daughter has a longer torso and the suit fits her fine. March 22, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5�by reviewer3764948 poor fit for the price I read the other comments about this suit often having some fit issues, but decided to try it for my 3 year old anyway, since I had a $10 credit to use. I ordered the little girls' size 4, and while the fit overall isn't terrible, it disappoints in several ways, and especially for a children's swimsuit at this price. The leg holes gape and the neckline is awfully low. I'm not sure if there are just several of us getting problem ones, or the designer of this suit just doesn't know how to make one that fits a typical preschooler body! Not at all up to LL Bean's usual standards, and I'm disappointed to need to send it back, especially since my daughter absolutely loved the flower print and colors. February 8, 2013
