Rated 5 out of 5�by citykidsyd Light, cool, and great colors! Finally got to wear this to the beach on our first really hot day. This top is very comfortable and cool to the skin, even in full sun. The fit is perfect; I really like the length on it as it actually reaches to the waistband of the bottoms. The colors are bright and cheerful, I got the blue reef dot. It doesn't have any support in it, but since it's made for young girls, that makes sense. Definitely going to be a beach staple. May 7, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by CanadianBean great swim top My 8 year old daughter has this top in solid blue as well as the polka dot. She is long in the torso and this top is long enough to cover her belly. The gathering did not bag on her but I could see how a very flat chested girl would have this problem. The cross straps in the back are great for keeping the top in place. Both my girls and I love LLBean swimwear. October 12, 2012

I can imagine if the girl is slim, it might be baggy in the bodice. The length cover her belly and the straps stay put. Would recommend. July 10, 2012

We both loved the pattern, but the pleated chest doesn't work if you have nothing to fill it in with. It just looked baggy. We were both disappointed. Probably a great choice for the pre-teen, but not for flat-chested young girls. June 4, 2012

We took it on a Hawaiian vacation where it was worn for nearly every bit of 10 days. It fit beautifully giving her the coverage that even she wants while giving her style she wants too. The sun protection was excellent and we had no need for sunscreen except on exposed skin. My girl wears anything from a girls 14/16 to a small juniors size so swimsuits in this range are hard to find. We ordered in a girls 16. It fit the bill in every way giving her one piece coverage in a cute 2 piece suit. Very, very pleased with the craftmanship too. There is a lot of double stitching and nicely finished edges and details - very nice LLBean. Thank you! April 4, 2012
