Super soft, really nice fit -- slim, not just in the waist but throughout.

Rated 4 out of 5 by edumom12 great texture, pattern and colour
I bought two of these shirts in the acorn pattern for Christmas presents for my two young men. Was pleased that they loved the material, colours and pattern. Both are tall and slim so they're hard to fit. The size Tall Medium fit the 6'5",175 lb son and the Tall Large fit the 6'6" 190 lb son. The shirts are slim in the signature line so I don't need to tailor them as I usually do. Although the shirts are long enough in the body, the sleeves are a bit too short. So they will be worn rolled up. LLBean, couldn't you just add an inch more to the sleeves in the tall sizes? Tall guys do have long arms! The hard to fit customer is very loyal to anyone with quality products who can provide a fit. Thanks to everyone who includes size information in their reviews, it's very helpful.

I love everything about this shirt and even bought it in two colors. The colors are very rich and not washed out. The fabric is soft and if you grab it right out of the dryer, you can get away without wearing ironing it (at least on the weekend). I wouldn't change anything except to make the sleeves an extra inch longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by clothed Needs to be slimmer at the waist
It's not as slim cut as it appears on the model. There are a about four inches of excess fabric puffed out around my waist. If the fit around the body were a little more trim I'd be super pleased with it.
One nice thing is the wrist cuffs actually fit. With pretty much any other shirt brand it's necessary to move the buttons to fit tighter. Who are these men with enormous wrists that every other shirt maker designs for?

This shirt is amazing. I am over 6 ft tall and about 190 pounds. I got the medium and it fits perfect. The look is timeless and the material is soft. It is a quality product that I have gotten many compliments.

I have been wearing the Signature line since its inception. The Washed Oxford shirt - both plaid and striped - is my favorite shirt. I bought all three of this year's Fall colors in plaid. The colors are rich and inventive, featuring surprising color combinations that work together brilliantly. They stand out in a subtle way, without the slightest bit of gaudiness. Take a close look with the zoom feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EnchantedByMaine Good fit, true to the clor shown
The Washed Oxford Cloth Shirt intantly became my favourite the moment I put it on for the first time. The tailored fit works perfectly -- relaxed, yet not baggy. Both the Bright White and Deep Ocean color are displayed correctly. Wonderful fabric, soft and durable. Plain gorgeous, a true classic in its own right that can be worn with just about everything. Probably going to last forever. One of the reasons why I love the Signature line so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bluefrog comfortable, but way too large
Love the quality, shape, colours, etc. However, the shirt fits me too large. I'm approximately 5'9" and weigh 140lbs~ and the smallest size offered (size S) is still at least 1 full size to big on me.
Heres to hoping they release an XS in the future.

I ordered the bright navy and really liked the color of the pattern, the fabric softness and am planning to purchase another. Getting the shirt out of the box and trying it on, I was a little unimpressed with the initial fit. The body was wider than I'd hoped for and the sleeves were a bit long. I am a 15.5 32/33; after washing however the shirt fits much closer to how I enjoy wearing my clothes.
