I bought this shirt because it was a Trim fit (which it is) and regular LL Bean polos are huge in the neck. However, this shirt was a little too feminine looking; in fact, it looked like a woman's shirt. All the features were a little too dainty, including the short, short sleeves, and the material was thin--almost see through. Returned the item.

The shirt would be great if LLB would offer more items in Tall sizes. Sizing up only gives a sloppy fit, not more sleeve or shirt tail length- don't need "bigger" just "longer". Another shirt (not tall) same size/different manuf in my closet is 2" longer! I won't bother returning, but include overall length info in the future so I have an idea if it will stay tucked in.
Generally LLB is good quality, but it's just not that unusual to find guys 6ft+ anymore. Start offering more items in Tall and a whole new market is yours.

This shirt fits trim and the sleeves are short (as I expected). Probably the biggest bang for your buck in the signature line. If you are nervous about spending a lot of money to try the signature line as I was, start with this shirt. I am 5'10" 192lbs and bought the XL. It fits snug with no room for extra pizza. Just an FYI...the signature line is worth the extra bucks for "out on the town" wear. Nice stylish shirt. Is thin though and will be a better warm to hot weather shirt.

Pretty much told the story on my return sheet. The shirts were poorly sized (too small) and poorly made; button hole frayed, for example. Afraid LLBean made a poor purchase this time.

We bought this for my boyfriend, and he really likes it. It's great quality and really soft. It hangs well, not clingy but not too loose either. He's picky about polos because some are so boxy that he looks like he's swimming in them. This shirt fits great. It also washed up well. We'll likely order more.

bought 3 of these for him. he wears them i care for them. very well made ,nice light weight which makes them useful in the casual dress category. they wash well and retain their shape, i wash and put in dryer for short time and hang to finish. he is a true size medium and they fit perfectly.

Ordered one in blue. . The quality is excellent, fabric soft, and best fit ever from any other polo I have warn. I am back on line to order more in other colors. Get them while they last!!

Awesome fit. I am not large, but I don't have a perfectly slim body either. Most polos once past medium, tend to tent around you, making you look much larger than you are. I ordered this in a large, and the fit is fantastic. It does not "cling" but it is tapered a bit toward the bottom to avoid that "tent" look. I avoid so many polo shirts because of this problem. I have ordered more in this style, because the price is excellent for a quality polo.
